Hello!
I'm wondering what would be the best method for setting up logs so that the
music would stay roughly on time... especially if a bad estimate of music
length is given in the clocks (I have some tracks that are up to 5X+ the
length of most others). Would there be a way to accomplish this?
Greetings all!
I am running rivendell 2.5.1 on Ubuntu Studio 12.04 with the JACK Audio
connection kit on 3 ports connected to JACK Mixer and being streamed from
JACK mixer out to a darkice stream.
All audio works, database is fine, but the issue is that when trying to
execute rmlsend commands
...actually I think he upgraded to 12.04 Ubuntu. But same principle. Kill
and keep off Pulseaudio! It is Rivendell's worst enemy.
I happen to be one of the lucky ones who have Pulseaudio and Rivendell
working and not conflicting thanks to JACK and JACK Mixer, as well as a
custom asound.conf.
They aren't included in the package I don't think.
I have uploaded both the module and the configuration file to the
category https://www.wrrj.org/downloads/category.php?id=17
Please download both. Configure the conf file BEFORE you begin using the module.
Go to rdadmin and login. Click manage
I'm not sure which version of Rivendell... the only version number I
can find is in the backups which reads database version 205.

What latency are you referring to exactly? If you're referring to latency
caused by live audio going from the client to the rivendell server, that

It's both. It's MPEG I Layer 2 data (popularly, and misleadingly, known
