who say Your product is crap get their issues resolved. I have helped
another list member with several of his issues 1 on 1. I have bumped my post
once.
These phones were sold as part of the Nortel SCS 500
We wiped the SCS out completely, it's not an update to SIPX, we did a fresh
install of Sipx 4.2.0 iso and then updated to 4.2.1 when we started noticing
all the little issues. We are out of our contract for the SCS so we can't go
down that road.

sipx gui, but still the same error as previous. Tried to do a yum clean all

Ok, looks like it can run the update now. Had some formatting issues in the
sipxecs.repo when I copied/paste from Claudio's post plus another
sipxecs.old.repo file.. hence the duplicate (deleted that one). I canceled the
update for now after running yum update. Need to clear up a question.
Running yum update will be fine, in fact that's the only way to go from
4.0.x to 4.2.x
after it finished, reboot the server then log into sipXconfig then send
profiles to your servers
If you have any location based dial rules set up you'll have to set up
branches to match those as doing that
