Thanks for the sipxecs.repo. Replaced the one I had and tried the update via sipx gui, but still the same error as previous. Tried to do a yum clean all and yum update and get the following errors. Any ideas? Is it safe to manually delete everything out of /var/cache/yum and do a yum update?

Ok, looks like it can run the update now. Had some formatting issues in the sipxecs.repo when I copied/paste from Claudio's post plus another sipxecs.old.repo file.. hence the duplicate (deleted that one). I canceled the update for now after running yum update. Need to clear up a question.

Running yum update will be fine, in fact that's the only way to go from 4.0.x to 4.2.x after it finished, reboot the server then log into sipXconfig then send profiles to your servers If you have any location based dial rules set up you'll have to set up branches to match those as doing that
