disks to iso images on a hard drive. Then install it using the iso hard drive
install option. A bit over the top but the only way it would work.

I finally got my Networking going between Windows 2000 and Linux.
Now I cannot telnet from Windows to the Linux machine, and vice versa. The
error is connection refused.
Pinging the IPs either way is fine.
I have reconfigured Linux firewall to put telnet as a trusted
device on Linux.
Now try doing:
chkconfig --add httpd
chkconfig httpd on
that should make sure the script is properly set up to start the web server on
a reboot. To check do:
chkconfig --list httpd
It should produce something like:

To be honest, I don't really know. I think it is one big FAT32. It is
definitely
/home/virtual/domain.com/usr/bin/perl
The contents of /home/virtual/domain.com/usr/bin/perl
are not symbolic links to the main /usr/bin/perl .
This will not work anyway as user accounts cannot
and should not see anything below it. Right ??

That sounds a little like /usr/bin/crontab is not executable due to
problems in shared libraries or ldconfig version.
What happens if you say:
ldd /usr/bin/crontab
