Hi,
The Fietsersbond would like to know how much of the Fietsostrades are
already realized. They are looking for some volunteers to help them do
that. Problem is that nobody really knows, and Fietsersbond needs to know
this to be able to give an estimate of their cost to inventarize the

Of course, nodes can also have an effect on routing. For example, you could
add the code below to query barrier nodes which have an access tag but not
a foot tag.

Hmm, define start_date. If Aalter swallows up Knesselare, is that a new

municipalities in Belgium, I'd recommend contacting Statbel, in Flanders

Hi,
Most of the work on street names has been done already, which you can
admire here:
https://www.mapcontrib.xyz/t/2d975c-Geplande_adreswijzigingen_gemeentefusies
One more thing to think about: new municipality polygons. I suppose we just
create a new one for each of the new municipalities.

Then there's also the (probably few) streetname relations to think about.

@Ben: I was also thinking about proposed, but I don't like how this is not
in the main tag. Instead of route=bicycle + state=proposed, I would prefer
something like route:proposed=bicycle. Then you automatically break
data-use that hasn't heared about these 2000 objects worldwide that have a
ces, parts are completely ready, but then just stop.
And in some cases, there is an "official detour" of the fietsostrade. So
while the infrastructure is not there yet, in a sense the route is already
there.
How do you think this should be mapped, if at all?

Nice to see you here!
I've played with the idea of unique identifiers for OSM objects myself

much in Belgium). Here's an article I wrote long long time ago about it.
It's especially useful for the comments,
