I didn't know there were meds that could lessen the tight banding feeling
and would love to hear feedback on what meds work and of any side-effects
from them. Never heard of Tegretol before but will look into it.
Thanks!

Connie,
I take 10mg Baclofen 3 times daily and 100mg Lyrica approx every 8 hours.
I think the Baclofen helps the most with the banding and know I would be bed-
ridden without it. I've been on Baclofen for five years and on this dose for
the last three.

Hi Jeanne,
The banding has been exactly the same for me. It has been with me since
day one and starts underneath my breasts and goes all the way around my
abdomen. When it gets real bad, it continues downward until I feel completely
enveloped by it. Sometimes it hurts so badly

I take tegretol 200 mg. twice a day and it helps with the banding. Only have
it occasionally now and thats only if I have really over done it.

About the banding. I actually had banding pains as early as age 19. 5 years
later I got left foot drop. 10 more years I got right drop followed by lose of
right leg. The banding that came after tm was far more painful. Took sleep and
energy and seemed to never end.
