Reboots should not be necessary, computer or Touch. Are you certain Touch is connecting to your network? Not a neighbors WiFi with the same name? Is your computer wired to your router? Does your router have a "guest" WiFi section? If so, turn it off. -- toby10

You shouldn't have to unplug/re-plug the drive to transfer your files. That is an inconvenience that you don't need to live with. It's probably best to get the Touch's built-in file sharing (Samba) sorted out, but even if you don't manage that, you can probably use WinSCP to transfer any music fil

I would agree with Gary, for lossy compressed internet radio streams there would likely be little (if any) sound quality difference. Even when listening to the very few 320k streams out there. For such higher bitrate classical streams try a search for Linn or AVRO on your SB3, if not done so alr

I think it is unlikely that a version of mplayer has been built for ReadyNAS except for possibly the x86 based ones. If you have a Sparc or x86 version it may be possible for you to build a version for yourself but if you are not experienced - you will need help from users who have already built
