Well quite. But then there is a reason why the ayre dac has a USB input
and a USB input only.

caveats, its NOT plug ang and play, if you make the file modification
to use a USB DAC you can't get output from any other output, it will
JUST play to the USB DAC. You also loose the UI sounds (beeps etc when
