Triode,
I'll give this a go in QEMU A.S.A.P as I don't have any ARM based
devices. However, I'm not sure what the current Arch arm systemd
version is, and the last time a tried to build an emulation using the
ARCH rfs and load/update additional ARCH packages in dynamic QEMU it
ground to a halt
Just curious - why Arch? Is there something that makes it preferable to
other distros for this use case?

Over the last couple of days I've been working a port of
squeezelite/jivelite and a web control application to install on arch
linux. This is intended to allow relatively easy installation of the
application software on top of a the arch linux distribution which is
well supported across multiple

I could tell a couple of stories relating to all night raves when I used
to work in the city. I'll skip past the stuff that

Yep, that's just another example. I do that all the time.

Not currently available. Trying to get the image released via a third

Shall I go to the interview?

Castalla,
Perhaps Clive is too polite to say it, but it's time to shut up. And for
the record, I don't think capitalism is despicable. That was an overly
emotional response to the project's problems.

Maybe I'm in the middle of a discussion with a commercial company about
doing something which I think will help me and a community

Pepe,
If you're thinking of taking the debian route, the Robert Nelson
netinstall might be of interest:
https://github.com/RobertCNelson/netinstall, but it's a technical
install.
In any case "squeezelite" does exist as a package in debian armhf
testing and unstable repos, but it's not built with
Thank you Chris, very kind of you.

I see Debian Wheezy is available for the Wandboard. I have used this for
the Beaglebone Black and simply installed Squeezelite for use as a
player. May not be optimised for the purpose and just a player but it
certainly works.

It took less than a second to receive the picture of 55731 bytes size.
Yet it wasn't shown. What debug option would I need to get more
information where it might fail?
Ok, this probably isn't a jivelite issue after all: it's failing on jpeg
files and on my Pi only. PNG are shown ok on the Pi as
