Hi, I've added IR sensor for remote operation and it works fine, but
was wondering if there is an option in PcP to have audible remote
"clicks"? I don't have screen on rpi3 so it would be handy to hear if
remote signal was registered. Thanks

Hi apologies if this was already answered, I gave up search after 20
minutes cos although there is lots about Bluetooth I can't find my
case..
I have upgraded my ancient tv to android tv so retired libreelec (with
squeezelite) on my RPi 3b+ which now runs pCP for only audio duties..

Sure, Previous one I had installed which still works is:
Hey Michael,
Just tried to do another docker LMS update on synology.. All previous
updates went all smooth to the point that I was surprised some people
are having permissions issues.. But..
Now trying latest dev image I'm in same boat.. Unable to read/ access my
library.. Also problems with

You won't be able to save new playlists with RO. You need RW for
playlist folder

Haven't Michael already sorted it out though? I think it was mentioned
to him already so possibly as I'm running 8.2.0 dev it had been
tweaked.. Otherwise maybe I'm just lucky as I'm in GMT which perhaps

hmm, how do I check this? All players show correct time , alarms
functioning as expected..
Sorry if that's not helpful.. Unfortunately I don't have a skill to
assist with problem causes by update in raspbian, all I can do is to
suggest possible alternative in case you not aware..
I've been running squeezelite on raspberry pi 3b and 3b+ with Osmc as
OS.. It's basically Kodi / xmbc

As you have mentioned Synology ; I have simply and successfully updated
LMS by
1. Downloading new docker image
2. Stopping existing container and turning off auto restart
3. Launching new image with identical settings (pointing to same config
folder location) as existing
Optionally backup
Hey Michael, I just tried docker image update as previously discussed
and all went good :D
I'm just not sure about backup (which I would like to do before updates)
..
On LMS info page under *"Helper Applications Folder"* I have following

What's wrong with this particular one?
I would argue it's better still then package which potentially could
expose whole NAS if there were any security holes.. With docker you are

I read your message again and it seems like you are referring to LMS
mapping when describing symlink..
You still need to map your "music folder" to /music in LMS.. but your
"Music folder" should contain synlink to your "Music Folder 2" .. "Music
Folder 3" etc, (btw This symlink(s) need to
I'm not sure if I understand you..so are you saying that's symlink you
created works fine in synology file station but it's ignored in LMS?

You can place symlinks (shortcuts) to other folders inside your
I believe /mnt is also available to map.. If you need more then symlink
is way to go.. Check other thread with pinkdot package for details

Hi Michael,
Just have discovered your docker image and in light of Synology DSM7
compatibility issue with pinkdot package I was going for a test run
before I spend any money on RPi..
I've immediately hit a wall with adding (mounting) more then one
(different) shared folder to /music..
