Running out of space under any unix is fraught with peril. I would
suspect that in saving its environment under these conditions nay open
files were saved as zero length. No application can protect itself
against this event. OOo is no exception.
Since this has happened, have you tried re-running
Reopen the file using Open office, then click on Filesave As and you'll get
the choice of saving the file in many forms. Choose the Word version you
want, and you'll be back to a .doc file for Word.

line Windows 1.1.4.Solaris x 86 appeared. I tried to get back to a more

I have a document with a table in it. I don't want a page break after the
table, but there is one.
The break checkbox in Format - Table - Text Flow (tab) is unchecked.
Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this page break?
Also, how do I see the page breaks? I have the Nonprinting characters

I was able to do this with no problems.
Try this first
Open a new Write document.
Add a new macro in the standard library of the Write document.
Assign the key Ctrl+8 to call this macro.
I know this is an OOo feature, but ... when I open a writer document
after the template or styles it is based on have changed (or at least
OOo thinks they have changed), I get one chance to leave it alone or
let it update.
