I've got enableLookups="false" in the server.xml file
and Wireshark shows no signs of DNS lookups.
Also, all of the Webstart stuff (downloading jars etc)
is pretty responsive.
So I don't think that is the problem ... but is there any way
that Tomcat would do reverse DNS lookups if

otrack.med.acuity.MedicalAcuityLevelCode
1)backup old jars and classes
2)delete all old classes of otrack.med.acuity.MedicalAcuityLevelCode.class

It's been my experience errors like this are caused by having the same
jar file in the common/lib and WEB-INF/lib directories.

META-INF/ folder.
Everything works well, but when the server is restarted, our application
