interface so that one can text a volunteer instead of calling. There
are some circumstances where a blind hearing person may find this of
value, but they're not providing as much access to as many people as

I think 2 things are happening here. First, as others have pointed
out, the excitement factor just isn't there as it once was. Second,
not as many people seem to post on mailing lists as often. I seem to
recall a similar sentiment about no one talking about the keynote last

There is certainly a speed bump with 5G. To add to my previous
comments, I don't think the sound quality is different between the SE
2 and SE 3. However, my ears aren't the greatest at picking up such

No headphone jack means it's a second gen SE. Another way to tell is
whether the Home button presses down or gives haptic feedback. if you
can physically press the button and feel it click with the Home
button, it's a first gen SE.

Though HIMS Tech support is getting kind of unreliable, I'd say it's a
toss-up between the Edge and the Varioultra. It really depends on your
specific situation as to which will be best for you, given that the VU
costs more. From using both devices, I can tell you the VU doesn't
have as much batter

Honestly, you are probably better off just purchasing a small AM/FM
radio. While the broadcast on the radio is about 5 seconds behind, the
streams tended to be nearly a full minute behind when I tried them.
Now that KOA has a FM broadcast as well, you may be able to get away
with just a cheaper FM
The command is space with 1-2-3-4-6. However, you cannot re-label the
adjustable item for a page on the home screen.

With a braille display, you can have VoiceOver tell you what the text
style of the text you are currently on is. For example, 18 point bold,
and the font type. Does anyone know of a bluetooth keyboard command or
gesture to do this?

The Logitech K380 sells for $30 on Amazon, and I love it. It does have
the command key between control and options, but I use the caps lock
key as the VO Modifier key anyway, so that's not an issue for me. The
k380 also connects to 3 devi ecs at the same time and I love the feel
