any OCR app.
Both new iPhones have special pixels which set the pixels in the area for the

In settings for KNFB Reader, make sure the reader setting below says
on.Automatically start reading Switch button on
I would also make sure the camera setting for flash is set to off.
Batch mode should be off for single pages.

You missed my follow up message where I quoted Jim Gashel's message to the KNFB
Reader list.
They have removed the try before you buy feature because it caused too many
problems.
Read my second message if you want to see exactly what he said.
No mention if they intend to do a trial mode later.

Yes, it's true that the KNFB Reader will not work on an iPhone 4S. Only
iPhone 5 and higher.
