Hi Sandy,
I think you need a specific address. So for example, find the address of the
store where you want to buy the plasters, and then set a reminder to remind you
when you go to that store. You can probably use Siri to find the address of the
store by saying "Where's the nearest Walgreens"
Hi,
I remember reading that there was an app that allowed you to cut, copy, and
paste info between the Mac and iPHone and use the Mac keyboard as a Bluetooth
keyboard for the iPHone. Which app is this? I searched the archives, but I
can't find the thread on it. I found the iKeyboard app on Appl
Hi,
Do you have Weather Radio or Storm Shield installed? Those apps track your
location regularly by default to try to give you the most relevant weather
warnings. If not, go to Settings/Privacy and choose Location Services. YOu'll
find a list of all the apps that are using Location Services an
Hi Kimber,
Has your daughter tried using a different USB cable? Maybe the problem is
simply that a cable has gone bad.
Best of luck,

Hi,
I really like the fact that you can choose how you want to hold your phone and
the app adjusts. You can either braille with the phone flat on your lap or with
the screen away from you as BrailleTouch does. And so far, Grade 2 works very
well. Having what you typed copied to the clipboard au
Hi Scott,
I, too, have complained about this problem to Learning Ally multiple times. I
really wish there was a way to back up a few seconds, but there doesn't seem to
be one. And as far as I know, there's no other app that can play Learning Ally
content.

Hi,
Open Settings, then General, then Accessibility, then VoiceOver. Double-tap the
Typing Feedback button near the bottom left of the first screen in VoiceOver
settings. There are two sections on this screen, Software Keyboards and
Hardware Keyboards. In the Hardware Keyboards section, double-
Hi Tom,
If you don't have the sidebar up, go to the View menu and choose Show Sidebar,
or press Command-Option-S on a Mac; I think the command is Control-S in
Windows. If you use a Mac, interact with the sidebar. Find Podcasts, and press
the Context menu key, which is VO-Shift-M on a Mac, conte
Hi Jane,
You can definitely sent iMessages to his iPHone number. Maybe you could start
with faceTime, since it's simple and then you will be able to talk to each
other easily.
Good luck,

Hi,
The NYTimes app puts headlines in the notification center. If you tap on one,
it brings up the app focused in Top News, so you can usually find the article
mentioned. YOu don't have to subscribe to the Times to use this functionality.

Hi,
If you ever read Bookshare files with a braille display, Read2Go is a better
option because you can read a whole section, such as a chapter, of a book
continuously, while with Voice Dream Reader, you have to switch screens
manually every few lines. The last time I tried this, the last line
