Has anyone managed to set up VNC to allow access into the secure N3

Hi guys,
I'm using the realvnc viewer. I have somehow,managed to make the terminal
window disappear and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it back
again. Currently all I'm seeing is a grey window with two checkboxes Send
clipboard to viewers and Send primary selection to viewers.
These instructions are great for Windows to Windows, but could someone suggest
asimple alternative for a Linux (remote, behind the firewall) to Windows
(server). Also, can the tunnel on the server end be set to passively listen
for incoming connections?

When I'm at work, I am unable to get a connection to my realvnc server on a
home XP SP2 (Pro) box. Is this blocked by a corporate firewall? Is there a
way around this? It would be very helpful to be able to troubleshoot
remotely for the family.

I've created an unattended install that does everything other than setting the
license key. I've tried setting the license key on a machine and then
importing the VNC registry keys to the box that is getting the package.
However, it seems the registry key generated is unique in every install.
I'm going to have to do
it with a nasty hack - some kind of log of which servers are running and
which haven't been used for a certain time, then kill them off and hope
that someone wasn't using it. I was hoping to find a more elegant,
automatic solution.

I run the latest free version of VNC on Windows XP with a server and 2 remote

I sign on vnc viewer from Windows XP Home without problem, however the

I am running tightVNC 1.2.9-181.1 that came with SUSE.
The viewer is V 4.1.1 on XP.
I can open the VNC viewer session from XP and see the KDE menus but the
display is horrible and almost unreadable
The headings has a pinkish look and the background of a terminal session
is so dark brownish
the tightvnc but please confirm.

Hi, I cant seem to get the java viewer to work when
trying to come in from my external IP. I have port
5800 forwarded at the router lever to proper IP. It
get my java applet to begin but after 30 secs or so I
get the red X on top left of applet.
then the status bar (bottom left corner...) reads
I need to use the Java viewer for Real VNC and would like to run it in full
colour. There is a full colour option in the Options display, but it is
greyed out so I can only get 256 colours. What do I need to do enable full
colour in the viewer or is this not available?

if you had files you wanted available to your customer on anonymous ftp, you
could just use your customers browser with vnc to go get the files from your
ftp site.

I have recently converted from Reflection-X to VNC (running the viewer on an
XP machine). So far I'm really impressed with VNC. One thing I miss from
Ref-X I is the copy rectangle feature in the title bar. Is there a way in
VNC viewer to copy a portion of the display so that it can be saved to
vncviewer can access it.
VirtualPC is again commercial, windows only, the Host os must be an
NT/2000/Xp, but I believe the same requirements are for VMWare also
(when running on a windows platform that is).
I haven't had any experience with Bochs, but it sounds similar.
