How about use the file transfer capability? If you're using the
Enterprise Edition of VNC, that would work. Transfer the file to the
remote computer, then open it up and use the normal cut-paste.

We use Citrix. We have VNC on every pc and server (including Terminal Server
and Citrix). It all works great.
VNC doesn't interfere with any of the applications. There really isn't
anything to know or fix that is special.
Connection to the workstations are managed through host name or IP addres
I use the VNC client from Citrix sessions all the time. Both from NT
and Win2K based Citrix servers.
No problems other than the expected extra complexity of nesting multiple
remote screens. It helps a lot i you can run a high enough resolution
Citrix session so that you can see your entire VNC

In order to have your machine accessible from behind your router you need to
open a port for it to use and you need to used the ip address that is
assigned to the router.
1. Open the admin functions in your router, look and see the ip address
that is assigned to the router (it will not be a 192.1

Then have him read the number to you.
Then type that number into your VNC Viewer and attempt to connect.

i'm looking to emulate my home pc from work using vncviewer.

using xp/pro
if i can get the ip address that is sent to the modem... i think i should be
able to then port through the router somehow and vnc to the workstation
If you are on your intranet, you only need VNC server and viewer to connect.
That will simplify matters. Have the server running on one. On the other
launch the viewer and use serverip:0 as the VNC Server.

Yes, you will need an ssh client -- like puTTY -- with your ssh
configuration. You should be able to put it on the same disk as VNCViewer.
