At the outlet of the hose connection, or in other words, at the beginning of
the hose. Be sure to include the hose valve in the hydraulics!

Subject: NFPA 14

Standpipe systems shall be one of the following:
(1) Hydraulically designed to provide the required waterflow rate at a
minimum residual pressure of 100 psi (6.9 bar) at the outlet of the
hydraulically most remote 21/2-in. (63.5-mm) hose connection and 65 psi (4.5
bar) at the outlet of the hydraulically most remote 11/2-in. (38.1-mm) hose
station.

65 psi is required at the end of the 100 foot long 1 1/2" hose or at the
beginning? I would say at the beginning as that would be the outlet of the
hose stations. But would like other opinions.

Thanks,

Tony
