Nancy, I've been able to install System 7.5.3 Rev. 2 using a Performa 6400
Series System/Software CD with many errors (damaged disk). It does have the
original CD drive that came with it, and it does boot the Performa CD from
it. I would like to reinstall System 7.5.3 using the installer due to many
files missing from the hard drive. I don't know the rules on posting links,
but I have some screenshots posted up on my forum, I could give you the link
if it is allowed. Also, for some reason I can't use any CD unless the
Performa CD was in the drive at system boot, and then I could remove that CD
and insert another. In addition, it for some reason doesn't recognize Audio
CDs. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this.
