I'm not sure if everyone is aware that Google Groups does support TAGS. The moderator has to create them. And, as far as I understand it, you have have apply at least one when you post. I'm unclear how that works with people who work through email. Maybe it doesn't? Its worth noting a MAJOR theme is the discussion was we are losing valuable documentation all the time by not having an organised way to look at past threads. TAGs might help, at least as an interim.
