Money IS the point of the conversation. How can it come up too soon? How many of us can honestly pick a job that we LOVE regardless of the pay? The simple fact of the matter is that we have a personal amount that we HAVE to be paid to make our personal budgets work and if we don't get that amount, we can't afford to do that job (or we cut down our personal budget so that we can do that job) There is risk on both sides. The employee may lie to get a better wage, the employer may lie about the solvency of the company. due diligence required on both sides mj/v _______________________________________________ UPHPU mailing list [email protected] http://uphpu.org/mailman/listinfo/uphpu IRC: #uphpu on irc.freenode.net
