William introduced the blind date analogy, so I will chime in here. Having salary too early in the posting is, to me, too much information and really not-needed. If salary were really this important, I think we could all save time by reducing job descriptions down to just salary ranges. Then expedia and travelocity could just match us all up with perfect jobs that match our salary needs. Company not important? No problem--Hotwire and Priceline could get into the act too, then, and offer even better salaries than those otherwise available, but you won't know what company you work for until you sign the offer letter. Good luck. I always get a little heeby-jeeby when relating recruiting to dating, but since it's already on the table, I think you should at least date a few times and see how compatible you are before getting married. _______________________________________________ UPHPU mailing list [email protected] http://uphpu.org/mailman/listinfo/uphpu IRC: #uphpu on irc.freenode.net
