truly and kindly beg to differ. being ex-presidente of uphpu, i still get request for job placement assistance from uphpu members. and I recently passed along a reference for a job with a DOE (which i never do, but did in this one case because of urgency). it wasn't until 2nd interview that the guy finds out it was for an unpaid internship. i stand by my point, money is the point of the conversation, why beat around the bush? When I go to a car lot, I want to see the walk out price front and center. let's cut to the chase, can I afford this car? blowing smoke is just a waste of time. mj/v _______________________________________________ UPHPU mailing list [email protected] http://uphpu.org/mailman/listinfo/uphpu IRC: #uphpu on irc.freenode.net
