In light of recent events, official University policy has been changed
to reflect the potentially evil and subversive uses of the Internet.
>From now on all outgoing connections must be approved in writing by the
Office of Information Technology. Copies of the form can be obtained
from room 60 KMB. Please print clearly and provide copies to be kept on
record at the Honor Code Office. To aid OIT in their decision, please be
prepared to provide the following information where applicable: IP
addresses of both peers, TCP/UDP port numbers, TCP sequence numbers,
estimated Round Trip Time (RTT), and any predicted ICMP error messages.
As always, if any encryption is to be used, the user must be registered
with the Honor Code Office following official procedure.

The University, which has now completely given up all pretense of being
an institution of instruction, has also changed its official motto: "The
world was too hard. We'd rather satisfy our superiority complexes by
micromanaging your life."

Thank You,

Para Noid
BYU Head Office
