The point being, in any case, that the effect of the planets on the Sun can't be explained by a *conventional* tidal effect, that is, the ones depending on the visible, baryonic masses of the planets only, and their known, observable and measurable gravitational interactions. There's clearly something more going on(the sunspot cycle, by example). But to call it in the same way than the known 5% can be not only misleading, but incorrect too.
