For each item on this list I can recall an example of someone at a
workplace who thought this was happening to them but they were flat
out wrong.  They wanted credit for something they didn't really
contribute to.  The thought they were owed a promotion due to
seniority when in fact they were incompetent at their job already.

Guess my point is, how can you be really be "fair" in an objective way?
