I've just pushed a fix to simgear that reduces the height of the UV
mapping by 0.004.
Please let me know if this fixes the problem.  I expect that some
trees will have been
slightly "trimmed" by this.  I'll go through the textures and correct
them once you and
Thorsten confirm the issue is fixed.
