Which are the IMail services not checkable at install?

I can't imagine why you're harping on this, of all "features."

Huh?  A  cursory  familiarity with Windows services is all you need to
manage  IMail,  among  the  most straightforward product suites in the
Windows  world.  I  defy you to show us a range of mainstream products
with more "flexible" service-start options.
