jadi betul kan, gara-gara mentalitas monopoli/kapitalisme ini orang
jadi mirip anjing yang memperebutkan tulang :-)

sebenarnya tidak, asal mereka tidak pernah berusaha memetik keuntungan
dengan bilang bahwa mereka mensupport linux/freebsd/dragonflybsd/*bsd,
padahal sebenarnya tidak.

begitu bilang windows tidak disupport, pengguna windows tidak akan pakai
gimp (misalnya), dan cari alternatif lain (di luar pertimbangan masalah
features dan biaya). tapi kan anda tahu sendiri, banyak pedagang yang
mengecoh pembeli.

nampaknya cara satu-satunya ya konsisten, misalnya pakai perangkat
(hardware) yang hanya memiliki driver dengan lisensi gpl (kalau bisa).
kalau ini menarik (advokasi/promosi) tentunya banyak yang ikut, kalau
banyak yang ikut, tidak ada cara lain bagi vendor (hardware) untuk bisa
tetap jualan.
