No, I agree completely. In addition, if our alpha release finds a problem in 
qt 5.6 beta, then we can make the qt folks aware of it, and might even get a 
fix in qt 5.6.0.

I'd suggest 5.6, since this will be a long term release (the first offical 
one for qt) as Stephan mentioned.
