The Qt 5.6 beta has been delayed to October 27th. From what I understand, the delay is due to time needed for creating binaries. I suppose this is good (as opposed to a critical bug found), as to me it suggests like it won't be delayed again: http://blog.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.qt.releasing/month=20151001 In any case, there are still some matters that we should clear up before our alpha release so I am now proposing that we release our alpha after October 27th.
