Alon, if anything, this proves that the meta list is NOT the place for
discussions about assembly issues.
The last assembly proved that if we don't reach a concensus before an
assembly, we won't reach it DURING the assembly. So discussion among all
voting members is very important. This is why I believed assembly@ IS the
right mailing list to discuss assembly things is not. But discussions@
is also ok - better than the "ghost town" you call [EMAIL PROTECTED]

  We need concensus between the people who actually intend to be present at
the assembly. These people (less than 15% of the subscribers of discussions)
should subscribe to meta. There is no reason to spam members in a way they
cannot unsubscribe, or to spam 200 people that will get irritated, and
simply not renew their membership.

  I think that most of the people who will arrive to the assembly are
registered to meta.
