About nine years ago, I was told by a car dealer that it couldn't be put on a credit card because of something to do with them then not having a lien on the car. (Or because the credit card company wouldn't?) I'm fuzzy on the details as to why, since the key thing I needed to know at the time was that I couldn't do that. The issue was SOMETHING to do with somebody not having a lien ... Anyway, that was nine years ago -- I don't know if things have changed since.
