John, Let's take the sequence from the architecture of science: math. logic, phenomenology, semiotics, critical logic, ... , methaphysics. You assume that my remarks concern the interval logic ... methaphysics. That however was not the object of my remarks. My remarks concerned the interval phenomenology, semiotics, critical logic. So, who suggested that metaphysics should be based on Hegel Style verbiage? (The destructive destillation paragraph is from Peirce.) Jon most certainly not. How could he, if indeed, as you assume, he focusses to much on words or literary criticism?
