You are off your meds. They certainly were not that sophisticated. You can
make analogies with anything but that does not make it true nor does it make
it a conspiracy as you seem to think it is. Those who choose to look in dark
corners for inexplicable mysteries cloak your own confusion in
conspiracies. Of course the Church was totalitarian and so were all the
other autocrats and monarchs and dictators who have ruled since they
acquired power. The only think morphed here is your common sense. Try to get
it back. And stop listening to those voices in your head. You are not God
and God is not listening.
Neither is the Church.... or the protestants who advanced the work ethic.
