93% of the population of the empire and it's remnants were slaves between
310AD and 1789, continuous, unabated, with no rebellions.
Racial slavery was a late comer of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
'Serf' was another name for slave in much of Europe. 'Serfdom' came about
as of the end of chattel slavery upon the establishment of christianity when
the slaves were "freed" and became christian 'serfs' where their ownership
was detached from an individual and attached to the land. With the ascent
of christianity as the controllers and managers of Roman slavery, branding
on the forehead also ceased along with chattel rights, as all who were not
of 'noble' blood became 'serfs' or slaves, thus enslaving all the remnants
of free people in the empire. Racial slavery was a return to the chattel
slavery where one man had documented ownership of another, a paper title.
Jesus was a slave that started a clandestine anti-slavery movement that
plagued the empire for 300 years. The 'underground railroad' concept
actually got it's start in that movement. Getting nailed to a cross was a
punishment the Romans reserved for rebellious slaves, and the cross was a
symbol of terror held over the heads of their slaves for centuries before
the birth of Jesus. At the founding of christianity which was necessated by
the overwhelming impossible to control population of slaves, the
anti-slavery movement was quelled by the elevation of Jesus to deity status,
the re-aligning of the slaves to 'serfs', and the forcible establishment of
christianity as the only religion allowed by the state (the emperor). The
new testament was not released for another fifty or so years, until around
367AD, adequate time to create such a slave control document.. "Family
values" was established some forty years later as a means to maximize the
profits, character, and numbers of the slave population which was a major
determining factor in counting a "lord's" wealth. "Family values" failed
to overcome human evolution and produce the ideal mule-like slave because
the slaves were able to sneak around at night and learned to tolerate the
loveless "made in heaven" marriages that was forced on them by the church
priests. The absolute ban on contraception did enrich the "lords" however,
which is why they are so determined to cling to it now as they try to create
a new set of "lords" from among our rich fascist capitalists.
