Ah, OK! Yes, for your use-case, the float() is appropriate and
you can auto-expire it with this:
FSET between(a, b) iif(b < today(), b, a > today(), a, today())
REM [between('2025-09-05', '2025-09-10')] MSG Make reservations for 10 Sep
