You are correct. The variation of between that uses realtoday() instead
of today() is a little different. That variation would only make at
most one calendar entry when you generate a calendar, rather than
putting an entry on every day from 5 through 10 September. And the
calendar entry would appear on (real) today's date, if it did appear.
