As to AM products, Ron Bashista's bold move way back in the Eighties got me
into S. I still have my two FP-7 shells and plan to keep them. The CGW had
two FP-7 units, and I have two to do up in CGW livery. As far as I am
concerned, they run fine.
I have one SHS F-3 painted for SP but would prefer to have had an SHS F-3
undecorated shell. They seem impossible to come by these days.
I also have a Railmaster NW-2 painted for CGW. It, too, runs fine, meets my
standards anyway.
I don't have unlimited financial resources, and perhaps that makes me look at
the plusses rather than the minuses.
