aMEN! Tom My original AM FP-7's and derivatives are still running just fine performing daily service. Maybe they're not as exquisitely detailed as some may desire, but they more than make up for that in smooth reliable operation.
I'm just glad I'm not as cognizant of their so-called "shortcomings". I probably wouldn't enjoy them near as much. Besides none of that is so obvious in an operating context.
