   John,   As for "modeling", one thing the Am Models FP's did that pleased me 
to no end, was to "NOT" cast on handrails! They left them off 
altogether.....much easier to just drill and add wire "standoff" handrails. I 
make my own now with the EMD type having distinctly smaller attachment rods top 
and bottom and inch and a half verticals.
   Despite any criticism, the AM FP nose is a real good representation of EMD's 
bulldog nose. Other details can be easily improved with some "modeling".
