Ed,

I agree... and as I have clearly stated, my current thoughts are based only on
the reviews and opinions of others. And I sincerely hope to find out they were
wrong.

So, contrary to Tom's "erroneous" assessment of my comments as being
"belittling" of AM's models, my comments are, in fact, nothing more than my
reflection upon what I've been told by some others. I did, after all, confess
this fact AND also say that I hoped to find those reviews to be wrong. So in
layman's terms, all I said was, "I've heard this, that and the other, but I
hope to find that it is all wrong." Maybe that will be easier for some to
understand...

  John....

I think the traction tire feature is mostly/only on the hi-rail wheels and
not on the scale wheels. If I am correct, the offering of that feature to the
AF-compatible crowd should not affect your opinions of AM's scale offerings.

It sure would be nice if you would actually see, hold, feel, touch and
operate a model before expressing comments and opinions and feelings and
viewings about it. Too much hearsay and unsubstantiated emotion is not good.
Personal observations and facts are valued.

  Cheers....Ed L
