CS>buying cs instead of making it...
Dear list, I have a question that has probably been asked before: If one is a little intimidated by the technical aspects of making one's own cs, (or perhaps, too lazy!) what has proved -- in the lister's experience -- to have been a good brand of cs to buy? I know it is expensive, so I would like to find the best quality for the money I might spend. Thanks in advance. Jan Bolen p.s. the political stuff seems to be a little 'off topic'. - Do You Yahoo!? Re: CS>maintaining blood level of CS
I have no hard data on it. Just an estimate from various times when family members have been fighting off the flu or a sore throat, and how often you have to take it to keep ahead of it. For instance if it seems to take 2 oz to get a sore throat to go away, but it comes back in an hour, then if you take 4 oz, and it takes about 8 hours to come back, one can get a little bit of a handle on how long it is sticking around. CS>THE MASTER CLEANSE OR LEMONADE DIET
Anybody know where it is? >> THE MASTER CLEANSE OR LEMONADE DIET Purpose: To dissolve and eliminate toxins and congestion that have formed in any part of the body. To cleanse the kidneys and the digestive system. To purify the glands and cells throughout the entire body. To eliminate all unusable waste and hardened material in the joints and muscles. To relieve pressure and irritation in the nerves, arteries, and blood vessels. To build a healthy blood stream. To keep youth and elasticity regardless of our years. WHEN TO USE IT? When sickness has developed-for all acute and chronic conditions. When the digestive system needs a rest and a cleansing. When overweight has become a problem. When better assimilation and building of body tissue is needed. AND HOW OFTEN? Follow the diet for a minimum of 10 days or more-up to 40 days and beyond may be safely followed for extremely serious cases. The diet has all the nutrition needed during this time. Three to four times a year will do wonders for keeping the body in a normal healthy conditions. The diet may be undertaken more frequently for serious conditions. HOW TO MAKE IT? 2 Tablespoons lemon or lime juice (approx. ½ lemon) 2 Tablespoons genuine maple syrup (Not maple flavored sugar syrup) 1/10 Teaspoon cayenne pepper (red pepper) or to taste Water, medium hot Combine the juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper in a 10 oz glass and fill with medium hot water. (Cold water may be used if preferred.) Use fresh (organic) lemons or limes only, never canned lemon or lime juice nor frozen lemonade or frozen juice. The maple syrup is a balanced form of positive and negative sugar and must be used, not some "substitute". There are three grades of maple syrup. Grade A is the first run-mild in taste, sweet and with less minerals than the other grades. It is more expensive and less desirable but it may be used. Grade B is the second run with more minerals plus more maple taste. It is more suitable for the diet and is less expensive. Grade C is the third run with even more minerals and still stronger taste of maple and slightly less pleasant for most people, although acceptable in the diet. It is lower in price. As Grade C is less expensive it can be used as an excellent sweetening agent in preparing foods. The strong maple flavor blends very well. The maple syrup has a large variety of minerals and vitamins. Naturally the mineral and vitamin content will vary according to the area where the trees grow and the mineral content in the soil. These are the minerals found in average samples of syrup from Vermont: Sodium; Potassium; Calcium; Magnesium; Manganese; Iron; Copper; Chlorine and Silicon. Vitamin !, B1, B2, B6, C, Nicotinic acid and Pantothenic acid are also present in the syrup. Information on the need and effect of these properties will be found in the Biochemistry in the back of the boo, "Healing for the Age of Enlightenment". Some uninformed operators of the sugaring of the maple syrup do use formaldehyde pellets, run through polyethylene tubing but there are many more that don't. Search out and demand the kind not using formaldehyde. Spring Tree of Brattleboro, Vermont does not use it. This is the kind I recommend. Dozens of letters weekly, from around the world highly praise the many superior benefits of the lemonade diet. Thus, we must conclude that since it does so much for so many it is truly The Master Cleanser. The following is a quote form one of the letters: "I tried the lemonade diet with exceptional beneficial results. I would like to order at least six at whatever your wholesale price would be-I know I will need many more as I do push the books. I believe they are the best in their field." An ideal formula involves freshly extracted juice from the sugar can (readily available in India, but not generally in the US at the present time): 10 ox. Fresh sugar can juice (medium hot or cold) 2 Tablespoons fresh lime or lemon juice 1/10 teaspoon cayenne (red pepper) or to taste Another possible but lesser replacement could be pure sorghum. (Do not use for Diabetes). It does not produce equal or close to the benefits of maple syrup. WHAT ABOUT THE USE OF HONEY? Honey must not be used at any time internally. It is manufactured from the nectar picked up from the flowers by the bees-good enough in itself, perhaps-then predigested, vomited and stored for their own future use with a preservative added. It is deficient in calcium and has many detrimental effects for the human being. According to one authority, honey is "a magical and mystical word in Healthfoodland. It is one of the most overpromoted, overpriced product being sold to gullible health foodists. The great value attributed to honey is delusive.honey is only a little less empty and more dangerous than sugar." Just as with alcohol, honey, being predigested, enters the blood directly, raising the sugar content very rapidly above normal. To correct this, the pancreas must produ

CS>Peaceful Bush protest FIRED UPON---batons, tear gas, rubber bullets
Police opened fire on Bush protestors with rubber bullets...snipers on the roofs... http://disc.server.com/discussion.cgi?id=149495&article=32278 "Police have opened fire on Bush protestors with rubber bullets, pepper spray and gas. "The crowd was standing at the barricades and the police had called a state of emergency. Pepper spray was used on group early on. Batons were used on some people. Group included babies in strollers and older people, also people in wheelchairs. Those that could get out of the way were cut off surronded by police. There were snipers on the roofs. "All protestors were given a phone number to write on their arm by legal group that would hook them up with legal services if they are arrested. There are also medics interspersed in the crowd. "The crowd included union people - longshoremen, anti-war people, people who see Bush as a corporate lackey who is stealing our retirement." "I saw it with my own eyes" by Randy 8:00pm Thu Aug 22 '02 "I was between 5th and 6th on the sidewalk. Maybe the ones in front were warned to move, but I didn't hear any warning. It had been a peaceful protest. Suddenly the police came forward spraying pepper spray. A man nearby with an infant in a backpack got hit real good. The baby's face was so red I thought it had quit breathing. We pounded on the door at Carl's Jr. asking for water, but they had locked up. From the other direction came cop cars through the crowd and rubber bullets were fired at those closest to the cars. I kept retreating but the cops kept spraying. Lots of people were sprayed including the camera man from Channel 2 KATU. Some of us ended up across the street at Standard Insurance and used the fountain and pool." Police reaction to Portland protest by Lisa Thomas 7:03pm Thu Aug 22 '02 "This will backfire. Even our most ostrich-like citizens are not going to stand for rubber bullets being shot in crowds with babies in strollers. This will hopefully wake people up as to what kind of people are running our country and how much closer to a police state we are moving." GOD BLESS PORTLAND by On Jacob's Ladder 9:48pm Thu Aug 22 '02 Thank you Portland for sending the message loud and clear! I thought the sheeple of this country too comfortable, too stupid, too crass to really care about what is happening here. We can never again ask "How did the German people let it happen?" Wake up - if we do not take to the streets we are letting it happen here. Even Gore (ol'"I'll fight for you" Al) ran and hid under a rock...Taking it to the streets is the only way - there is no other way - hey, Ostrich, do you think writing your Congressperson is the way to do it? They are owned by someone else, not by thee and me...The few who are not don't last (think Congresswoman Anita McKinney, who called for an investigation in to Bush's prior knowledge of 9-11). Do you think the ballot is the way? Have you forgotten Florida? They will only "count" the votes they want to count. The only hope we have is in the streets...In closing, a historical messsage for you from Nazi leader Hermann Goering, at the Nuremberg Trials after World War II: "Why of course the people don't want war ... But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship ... Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger." Thank you s much Ken. You have answered my questions and offered advise that I feel was well worth reading every word. I truly appreciate the time you took to reply to my post, seeing that I DID ask quite a few questions in that one post. I definitely feel I have a much better grasp of the whole CS brewing thing. What I see when I look at the different stages of concoction I am brewing actually makes some sense to me now. I like being able to put names to the things I'm seeing (or not seeing - in the way of ions!) when I'm making CS. It helps me when I ask questions so they don't sound quite so dumb. And I will ALWAYS be asking more questions, you can MMW! (haha) Thanks again, Christine -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. CS>Introduction
Hi list! My name is Vitale.I live in NYC for last 10 years.Originally from Russia.I have some medical background (forensic PA working for Medical Examiner's Office, former team leader for the organ/tissue transplant team). First treated with CS couple years ago, I was suffering from drug resistant pneumonia (caught it during an autopsy) for nearly 2-3 months. Numerous doctors visits, antibiotics; seems like nothing work. Low grade fever, constant cough and a night sweat. I lost so much weight so I looked like a shadow. I thought I'm going to become one of my own cases very soon. Luckily, I started a clinic in Naturopathic School, where I learn about CS. First introduction was in Russian military. Although, it was called a different name and it was in a pill form I'm sure that's what it was. At my school they started me on 4oz CS 3td and nebuliser w/CS 2td. They gave me some crazy mix based on a fresh squeeze lemon, honey and a lots of cayenne. I'm surprise it was no flame coming out of my mouth when I opened it. But I liked it after all. Anyway, my cough subside by the next day, temperature drop and it was normal since. I was completely cured by the third day. When I took X-ray a week after my lungs where clear. I was not taking any other medication and I'm convinced that the only thing that help was a CS. I would like to learn more about CS and it's applications and truly hope that the CS List is going to help me do that. Thanks. Vitale PS If anybody have any question please free to contact me

CS>Codex arrives
SO WHO WANTS TO "WATER DOWN" YOUR VITAMINS? by Bill Sardi Guess who is soon going to dictate the dosage of vitamins and minerals you can purchase? How about foreign dictocrats at the United Nations and the World Health Organization? Yes, and it's all being done under the name of free trade "harmonization," in a so-called attempt to preserve U.S. vitamin manufacturers sales to foreign countries. According to guidelines just released by the U.S. CODEX delegation, as part of treaties under the General Agreements on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), which would be binding upon all members of the World Trade Organization (WTO), foreign "experts" would dictate to American companies the maximum amount of vitamins and minerals that can be placed in food supplements. Foreign manufacturers could challenge the WTO that more potent U.S.-made brands represent unfair competition. Since many foreign countries already restrict the dosage of vitamins and minerals in food supplements, the new guidelines are likely to be used to water down the dosage of U.S-made brands so that foreign companies can compete with U.S. manufacturers. Currently, many foreign travelers seek U.S.-made food supplements and bring them back to their native lands because of their high quality and maximum dosage. This would all change. U.S. food supplement manufacturers would likely lose their prime position in the world marketplace. Oddly, CODEX claims its guidelines have been drafted to protect U.S. manufacturers and consumers. CODEX Guidelines Legally Binding Some three years ago The Center for Science In The Public Interest (CSPI) ["International Harmonization of Food Safety and Labeling Standards," June 1997] cited numerous international trade agreements and codes which could be used to enforce standards upon U.S. manufacturers of food products and now on food supplements. The WTO's Dispute Settlement Body could impose trade sanctions on industries unrelated to food supplements which could cause Congress to buckle and give in to restrictions on food supplements. Upper Limits Being Established CODEX guidelines attempt to establish upper limits on the dosage of food supplements. While the upper limit on vitamins appears to be established to protect consumers from potential side effects from over-dosage, the very establishment of maximum dosage would likely be misunderstood by the public. Printing upper limits on food supplement labels would likely scare many consumers away from these products. CODEX guidelines make the false assumption that there are thousands of cases of serious side effects emanating from over-dosage of food supplements and that the public needs immediate protection. Vitamin and mineral supplements are far safer than aspirin and ibuprofen (which cause thousands of cases of stomach ulcers and death from hemorrhage annually), acetaminophen (causes 70,000+ cases of liver toxicity annually and a few hundred deaths yearly), chlorinated tap water (causes 20,000+ new cases of bladder and kidney cancer annually), table salt (contributes to millions of cases of hypertension that can lead to strokes), and aspartame artificial sweetener (produces thousands of reports of adverse effects annually), all which are over-the-counter items like food supplements. Just Who Are the Experts? Another guideline proposed by the U.S. CODEX delegation is to require labeling that would urge consumers to take supplements only on the advice of a physician, dietician and nutritionist. The CODEX Draft continued to spread the mistaken idea that all the public needs to maintain health is a good diet. While food supplements do not replace meals, still less than 1 in 5 Americans consume the recommended five to seven servings of fresh fruits and vegetables daily. An estimated 8 in 10 Americans are short on magnesium, 4 in 10 are deficient in vitamin D and vitamin B12, and all humans suffer from a genetic mutation that blocks the natural conversion of blood sugars into vitamin C that most animals exhibit. Costs Would Rise If upper limits on food supplements are established then consumers who still want to consume higher doses of certain supplemental vitamins or minerals would be required to take more pills which would of course raise the cost to consumers. CODEX Disregards Congress Congress has explicitly forbidden the FDA from limiting potency or availability of supplements. Instead, the FDA and the U.S. CODEX delegation disregarded the wishes of Congress and moved ahead with the CODEX guidelines which still contain provisions for upper limits and other restrictions. Vitamins have been a hot political issue in the past. More letters have been received by Congress on vitamins than any other issue on Capitol Hill. It's time to the public to pull out their pens once again. (Bill Sardi ( bsa...@aol.com ) is a health journalist and author. His website is www.askbillsardi.com. CS>Will CS kill mold?
Christy, I will relate an experience I had that may (or may not) answer your question. In a town near me is a very old jail that has been turned into a museum. In the part devoted to the sheriff's housing, black mold had covered a ceiling. It was not a blown ceiling but a painted one. The local historical society, of which I am a member, was very concerned because we were conducting tours and exposing everyone to the mold. The concern was that we might be sued. The projected cost to "remediate" the mold was far above what we could afford. I suggested we use CS. They asked the cost and, when I told them I would furnish the CS at no cost and put it on, they were, to say the least, very skeptical. Finally, someone said: "What do we have to lose?". To make a long story short, I sprayed CS on the ceiling, wiped it off, and then sprayed another light coat with the idea that, after the water evaporated, the silver would still be there to try to prevent the mold from reappearing. That was the summer of 2001 and, as of today, there is no mold. The ceiling is white and looks as if the paint was just put on. I don't know if this will help you but I sincerely hope so. Good luck. Ralph Gerhardt At 07:24 PM 8/22/02 -0400, you wrote: We are doing some home remodeling. After tearing wallpaper off of a sheetrocked soffets near the ceiling in our kitchen, we discovered large areas of black mold growing behind the wallpaper, undoubtedly resulting from an upstairs bathroom leak around a bathtub drain years ago. I am concerned about the health threat posed by this mold as I have read some nationally published articles on homes becoming downright toxic because of interior mold. My question: Will spraying these moldy areas with colloidal silver kill the mold which is growing there? Re: CS>brewing ?
If you have not stirred and distributed the contents, they will tend towards the bottom even in process. The lower half will have more particulates. You can see the "Ion cloud" tend towards the bottom if not stirred even as it forms. If the particles are not too large and there is some heat energy in the water, they will distribute themselves in a few hours or days. I have a HVAC generator , totally unregulated with a fire hazard warning if run for more than 4 minutes, that makes a layered emusified brown sludge in mere minutes that turned shades of layered black over night. I only used it once. $150 for something that's far worse than nothing at all. No one on this list gives advice. They offer information from personal experience, assorted hearsay and observations so people can make their own 'more informed' choices. You and you alone are responsible for what you believe and do. Besides that, there should be no confusion between the difference in definitions of a command and a suggestion in ANY area of lifes experience. If you confuse a suggestion with a command, you probably will find lots of problems, anywhere you care to look, to blame on anyone but you...with all the power to do otherwise placed exactly where you can't use it. Looking for absolute answers? Good luck. They don't exist here or ANYWHERE else. Feeling powerless? Of course that has nothing to do with giving all your power away...no..DEMANDING that someone else take it. [and blaming them if they do?] This is the catch 22 feedback loop of the victim mentality. Ken I demand that you Tell me what to believe! No, that's not it. [OK, so what IS it?You're supposed to tell me so I can hold YOU accountable for what I think.] I do nothing for myself and you can't do anything for me right. Gee, I'd make up my own mind but Mary Kay and Revlon are on strike...and the mind maker-upper I hired is an idiot..but I won't fire him. [ Heck, somebody has to be wrong!..and it can't be me. After all, I'm not stupid enough to hire an idiot to make my decisions for me and keep on paying him when he does what I hired him for.] To err is human. The ability to admit error to oneself as MY error, is the ability to learn. To blame ignorance on someone else is a sure fire way to remain ignorant. The connecting thread is that your friend agreed to the outrageous charges. No one forced that. Both parties voluntarily participated for their own reasons. There is a common belief that you get what you pay for, so, some folks don't believe that anything that is inexpensive can have any great value. With that thought in mind...it doesn't. People who buy Volvos and Mercedes, which the average Toyota will match or outlast, have that mind set. A Mercedes water pump at $260 is exactly the same as a $60 Toyota water pump. Why does the Mercedes owner think he/she is getting a good deal? I don't care. Mind set and belief system. Misperceptions held dearly, looking for validation. Certainty by denial looking for something to hide the ommission behind. WE all do what works for us, no matter how crazy it may seem to someone else. I could call you anything I want and you will still think what you think. I could say "look here" and your eyes will still do what YOU want them to. I think I have better things to do than engage in frustration plays. I have enough trouble changing my own mind without wasting my energies trying to change yours. So, in the vain attempt to change someone else into believing a whole genre of people are evil with no exceptions, what evil are you avoiding in you? It's all too obvious that there's something hidden from self. Words said about another are a mirror of the speakers internal state of affairs. Re: CS>mgda
What is to be gained? An illustration of the mental masterbation of a victim mentality probaby won't open the eyes of the self supposed victim but it will make more clear the path to personal power to those who are unclear about it and a want that personal power. With accepting total responsibility for ones own thoughts and by extension, ones own actions, virtually any miracle can take place and no power or efforts will be placed where they can do nothing but nothing at all. There is no such thing as counterproductive. There is only lack of awareness of true intent. Fear, guilt and blame are mechanisms of justification for that lack. "I take it where it isn't and hide it behind what's not so I can't access it at all". Once you "get" that and actually live it, you have the entire universe whipped into shape. [and, in fact, always did. At that point of realization, you also realize your power to whip the universe OUT of shape. The universe doesn't care anything at all about shape one way or the other. It encompasses all possible shapes. The very idea of shape is a 'selective perception' of it..a picture drawn on it to see, not "it"] The ultimate power is the power to deny that you have any...and believe it, thereby making it so. [It takes more power to be powerless than not. It takes more effort to deny ones own power than to accept it. Doing so requires near infinite distortions and convolutions of blame and that takes a LOT of time and effort.] The only true power is the power 'of' self..not the power 'over' another, that, by definition, denys to awareness [but only to awareness, not to reality] the true powers existance. That is, the very desire to have power over another is an admission of belief in powerlessness and helplessness of ones own self. But the act of being able to believe that is, in itself, an expression of an infinite power 'of'. The only thing a person cannot do, is nothing. A victim has a hand in what is happening..it's just someone elses hand, right? [slap] Ken I have an inkling here. It must have escaped from my printer cartidge. It won't print. Printers need all the inklings they can hold without leaking out the top. But if all the inkling leak out and make the paper black, I'll get a white pencil. Ions are in solution, carry a full positive charge. Particles are in suspension and carry either a partial positive charge or no charge..partial in that not all the atoms in a cluster making up a particle have a charge. Ions are too small to reflect [refract?] visible light, so, are invisible and don't contribute to a TE...but do conduct electricity, unlike particles in suspension. Particles are what you see in a TE and are formed from ions. All electro colloidla silver comes off the electrodes as ions at first, then form particles. Were the so called "ion cloud" actually ions, the cloud would be invisible. The trick is to get them to form small particles. Stirring by bubbling, using a stir stick or inducing thermal water currents tends to isolate the ions into small groups so they will not clump into larger particles by orienting them with the water in a uniform fashion. The water molecules isolate the ion clusters from each other till they form stable particles which go into suspension. [hydration] If the water is too energetic [hot] excessive motion can overcome the isolating effect causing collisions between particles and larger particle colloids can form [yellow] There is a boundary layer around the electrode where certain things happen as well. Stirring..or using a rotating electrode.. disrupts this boundary layer. Everything happens at inter dependent rates. If the hydration rates are increased, ion production rates can be incresed as well and still get the same result, but, everything has it's limits. Stir too fast and particles collide with the hydrogen producing electrode and silver particles get stuck onto the surface tension of those bubbles as they form resulting in the dreaded grey fuzzies. I've never done a bubbler setup, so I don't know if bubbling can make grey fuzzies. > >I noticed that when I spike the solution using one of my clear >(bubbler-made) solutions AND don't turn on the bubbler, it takes much >longer to get to the point of the 'wisps' than if I use one of my >non-bubbler (yellow) solutions to start the new batch. When I use a >yellow solution, it only takes a fraction of the time for the 'wisps' to >appear. ## This is because the yellow stuff is stronger and more conductive. It probably has a similar ion to colloid ratio but is stronger all around. It's stronger in the same amount of run time because ions form pathways in a non stirred setup where only the water between the electrodes is being ionized. Runaway occurs very fast within the ion pathway and you see golden whisps. [If the current/ ion production rate is reduced , you'll see white whisps.] The rate of ion production is overcoming the rate of hydration within the ion path, ions and larger particles are forming at runaway speed. When using some sort of stirring, the ion path is disrupted as it forms and the entire container of water is being ionized at the same time..so, it will take much longer to reach a runaway rate of production and the higher concentration. Timing a batch from the start is by no means an accurate way to determine PPM of either ions OR particles. > >I've read that the dissolved silver doesn't carry the positive charge like >the silver particles do. ## Dissolved silver is ionic and carrys a full charge. But ions are highly reactive, tending to form silver compounds more easily. Particles can have a partial charge but are not as chemically reactive in body fluids such as hydrochloric acid. No one is entirely certain how either one does what it does..or exactly what that might be. My best guess is that both particles and ions are good for different circumstances encountered and neither are harmful. Like, who cares what's in the shot gun if it knocks out the intruder and doesn't make a bunch of holes in the hallway. And that something like 80% of the CS are silver >ions, and the particle silver is only 20%. Would longer brewing using the >bubbler raise this percentage to over 80% of dissolved silver? Is this >good or bad? ## I believe that would be so. The weaker CS batches will be more like 90% ionic because the saturation point in the water is far from being reached, whereas, the stronger the batch, the more ions go particulate. But there will always be some percentage of ionic content. I have been unable to nail down just what the saturation point in water is...just that it varys with temperature, is affected by degrees of hydration of ions and who knows what else... and collisions can throw all observations off track. There's just too many different things happening and too many different things that can happen t
Re: CS>Where to buy silver foil and silver mesh
I get it from ccsilver.com or monsterslayer.com If you want just a little, e-mail me at silverm...@earthlink.net and I'll make you a better deal than what you would get in my webstore for any length you want. [More or less cost + shipping] and I'll include a couple of brass adapters that fit a 2.5 mm standard sized socket you can get at radio shack [or just send a couple for another buck] For another 5 bucks, I'll install them into a plastic jar lid with wires coming off of them and make a print of a current control circuit. For another 10 bucks, I'll solder the circuit together for you and you'll be ready to go with variable current control capable of running off an AC to DC wall adapter or batteries with a range between .6ma and 6 ma. That amounts to a basic variable current controlled generator with componants hanging around exposed and without any fancy packaging, or fancy 'auto off' functions for around $25. You'll need a digital multimeter to figure out what you're doing with it. Otherwise, buying the silver direct will do you better.
