There are no known bugs, just documented limitations. It's probably
a configuration issue. Did you use the Option "FlatPanel" as described
in the man page? You may need to fool with the "CrtcNumber" too.

in any official XFree86 release, but it will be supported in 4.3.
Upgrade to one of the 4.2.99.x snapshots on ftp.xfree86.org and

I think its your resolution, reconfigure XF86Config, but with lower
resolution and change it to 16 bit colour, it really depends on your
graphics card. Give this ago and if it doesn't work i don't don't know
