In case yes, ask them the relevant IP and the port and you have to specify the same in Mozilla. The menu option is Edit-Preferences-Advanced-Proxies. Hi.. I was trying to update my redhat 8.0 linux . I also signed up with red hat on their site for the same. As i ran the updater, it gave me this error stating,username cannot be registered and then i tried up2date --registerwell in d end it said ssl error and certificate not verified. I need to update my system asap, because any rpm i download informs me of the missing rpms that it requires. Given that you have a host running Windows on network, it might be infected with a 'spam' trojan. These are little, home-made, obscure trojans that usually are not caught by the anti-virus. These trojans keep sending spam at regular intervals can cause obvious problems. The solution too is obvious: Locate the windows box that's sending these mails and then check the processes running on it and kill the suspicious ones. A Google search for the suspicious process can be greatly helpful in ascertaining which files and registry entries are to be removed to completely banish the trojan outta your Windows machine. Or, if your SMTP server is misconfigured someone over the Internet might be using it to forge mails and send them anywhere in the world. You may configure it properly. I don't know how to do that, so can't say anything. Please help me in GRUB loader. I have two different hard disk. In one hard disk I have win98, and another hard disk I have installed redhat 9.0. During the installation I gave redhat as a default os in GRUB loader. Now when I remove my red hat hard disk then I am unable to start my pc because it give GRUB load error. so please help me to solve my problem. Now I want to remove GRUB and I want to manually select the os from the startup...is it possible? Atleast i now know that i dont need that CD and based on the info from your email, one should be able to get this working in Linux, i will try and report back. I tried it on windows yesterday and it didnt work, i spoke to the call center and they needed to 'activate' it on my phone, which will be done in 2 days ... what the ^%#$ ? So i find out tomorrow. Dear all, When Internet is down, Out Outlook Clients on MS windows are not able to send out the emails ( not even internal ). While on Linux machines everything works.
