Happy Birthdays

2002-06-23 Thread Jody

Happy Birthday to me!!

Happy Birthday also to Shel. Well it's the 24th here
anyway. Have a good one, I'm going to try. Gotta be
better than trying to mend my broken heart on my
birthday last year.

Has it been a year already? Could I really be 27 still
with the face of a 17-year old? It would seem so. Oh
dear, never mind.

Happy Pentaxing everyone.

Best Wishes,
Jody.

PS. I'm on no-mail, so if you want to reply, send a
copy to me. Thanks to whoever thought of no-mail,
it's really freeing up my already busy life.

Busy, busy

2002-05-31 Thread Jody

Ok, so now I have confirmation that the no mail option
is working and I have done everything correctly.
Thanks Bill (Robb).

I have effectively been off-list for quite some time
now. I miss you guys. Just wanted to catch up and tell
you what has been happening in my life.

I haven't had any spare time for the list (or
photography) for quite a while now. I'm working 55-65
hours a week, including some on-call night work. As
well as this, I am studying 3 papers extramurally.
I'm learning French language, Spanish language, and
European History. History is horrible, but I do it
because I have to to get a degree in European
languages at the end of it all. My exams are starting
next week. Maybe after that I will have spare time.
Failing that, I will have several months free from
November. I drive "home" (6½ hrs away, where I grew
up) next week for my exams as this is where the
university is.

I have bought a book on HTML, and hope to write my own
website sometime this year. I hope for a place to
showcase some of my photographs that I am proud of. I
will let you know the address when I get it up and
running. I hope you will come and visit.

Thats all for now. I've got to try and get some study
done today.

A Bientot,
Hasta Luego,
Jody.

JT: Funny namesake story

2002-02-10 Thread Jody

There is currently a ship stuck on the sandbar in the
city/town where I live with my name on it.

It is called the "Jody F. Millennium" (no kidding) and
it has been there for 5 days, and is leaking oil
everywhere.

I find this terribly amusing, nothing like this has
ever happened to me before.

Maybe I should cash in by selling photos of Jody next
to the Jody F.

Excellent fun to be had by all

2002-02-10 Thread Jody

Hello everyone,

Just thought I would share my plans for next weekend.
I am off to do the annual photo rally being run by the
local photolab.

It starts at 9am on Saturday. We get one topic to
start and then 2 per hour with the last one at 1pm
(total of 8 topics plus 1 optional topic). We are
given one 24+3 exposure Agfa film on which to capture
our topics. We must hand our film in to the
organisers by 9pm, and return to pick up and display
the prints that night. We choose one print for each
topic and hand them in. The next day there is a
prize-giving, with prizes (camera equipment and film)
for each category by camera brand, and age-group. Plus
the overall prize of a mystery trip for two. Also spot
prizes that you must be there to collect.

The first year I entered with my Spotmatic and won a
prize. Last year I used my MZ-30 and they said I
almost got a prize, but missed out. This year I will
use my LX and see how I go.

The topics are usually really abstract eg.
"Shattered", "Fragile", "Short and Curly" which have
so many interpretations. One I remember from last
year was "Rain". Rain was forecast for the day, but
it turned out brilliantly sunny, and the organisers
were feeling sadistic and decided to keep it in.

I am getting really excited about it. I'm sure it will
be a lot of fun.

Jody.

Re: This List Should Have Warning Labels...

2002-02-01 Thread Jody

Be very careful. These people made me buy an LX, from
the internet of all places, for a heap of money (and a
heap more customs tax), about 2 months after I joined
this list. But don't get me wrong, I like my LX a lot
(and someday we plan to get married ).

Although for 10 whole years before the list, I was
quite content with my Spottie.

Now I NEED a 16mm, a 28mm, an 85mm, a 105mm, a 300mm,
something k-mount with f1.4, a gigantic Pentax
Spotmatic, a humungous cat, a spotmeter, a manfrotto,
a trip to Grandfather Mountain, Tom van Veen, etc,
etc, etc .

This list is evil. Get out while you still can .

Friday funny - yes it's completely on-topic

2002-02-01 Thread Jody

Well, I thought it was funny anyway.

I came back to the list this evening after about a
week not being able to check my emails. I discovered
there was too much mail and Yahoo had blocked my
account. So I had to resubscribe.

Here is the command I sent to majordomo:
"subcribe Pentax-Discuss"
Not surprisingly, majordomo didn't understand. See
the problem? It took me a little while to work it
out. Hey, it's Friday and I'm very tired.

The time before I thought I'd be polite (for a bit of
a joke) and sent:
"subscribe Pentax-Discuss please"
I thought it a little strange that after 10 minutes my
request for confirmation still hadn't come through. I
hope the person called "Please" appreciates their
subscription

Perhaps I should become an honorary blonde.

Jody.

How to make good pictures. Attn. Bill Peifer et al

2002-01-31 Thread Jody

I found this book going through some books my
grandmother had had, and my grandfather was cleaning
out. So it's mine now.

It is called "How to make good pictures - A book for
the everyday photographer" by Eastman Kodak Company
(Rochester NY). 25th edition revised.

It is quite interesting, I think it will really help
with my B&W photography, as there was no colour when
it was published.

I was wondering if anyone knows the history of this
book. There is no publication date. Bill Peifer,
maybe you can help, as I think your company has
branched off from Eastman Kodak.

It even says that you can send them (Eastman Kodak)
your negatives and prints for "helpful, constructive
criticism". Cameras of the time featured are (all
Kodak) Bantam Special, Retina I & II, Senior, 3A
series 2, Jiffy Kodak, the Brownie and the Brownie
Special. In the back are formulas for making your own
developers, etc.

Would be interested in your thoughts,
Jody.

Re: PENTAX 67 BODY QUESTION

2002-01-10 Thread Jody L. Reese

The button your asking about is a reset button in case you activate the
shutter and your battery fails during the operation. That will lock your
mirror in the up position. Then you would need to replace your old battery
with a new one and then push the reset button and the mirror will return to
its resting position. Hope that helps, and yes you will need a pen to push
the reset button.

Didya miss me?

2002-01-05 Thread Jody

Hello everyone,

Gianfranco somehow found my home email and contacted
me. I had been thinking of getting back to you guys
for a while. He just gave me the impetus. So I have
just cleaned my slate, and re subscribed. Now I'm
ready to start again for the new year. I'll try to
keep up this year, at least I have no distractions in
the way of flatmates. My time is now my own, when I'm
not working, studying, eating, sleeping.

Just heard the news about Jeepgirl. Never mind, Tom,
consolation is only a plane ticket to New Zealand away
;)
Has anyone managed to find out where hubby suddenly
appeared from?

I loe having a car. Just got my first car in
October, after 20-something years of Shanks's pony and
Shanks's horse (bike). Just gotta watch that weight
creeping on.

Had a strange problem with my LX today. Put a new
film in, wound it a little, closed the back, suddenly
it wouldn't wind on. Tried again a few times.
Finally discovered if I took off the lens cap, then
waited for a click, I could wind on. About 10 frames
in, though, it seemed to fix itself. To quote Steve
Irwin "Truly extraordinary". Also the mirror foam has
started getting tacky (I won't allow myself to say
st**ky) and coming off on the mirror.

Catch ya later,
Jody.

The best website that I have seen for a Pentax 67 owners manual for sale is
on Ebay. If you are looking for a parts manual and such I would also check
on ebay. I have owned a Ppentax 6x7 since the 70's. Is there anything I
could help you with?

Hallo! - loved your message but I am sorry to report that I am fresh out of
Sherpas! Lost the last one up a local canyon!!! Actually, I hate to admit
it but I carry 2 6x7 bodies with me when I am out in the mountains. I shoot
chromes in one and neg film in the other. Anyway, I am working on a home

Re: Med Format Quandry

2001-12-27 Thread Jody L. Reese

Hello from Utah! I have been shooting with the 6x7 since the 70's and
really enjoy it. I hate square format so that cuts out a few. Mamiya is ok
but heaver and more expensive (I shot RB67 as an industrial photographer for
Thiokol Inc.). No experience with the others. I would still go for the
Pentax 67II.

Re: Pentax 6x7II/Digital Back

2001-12-27 Thread Jody L. Reese

Hi Paul - I was quite interested in your comments about the studios in
Detroit. I also shoot large format (4x5) but with the cost of a digital
back for my Cambo I would have to take a second mortgage out if you know
what I mean! Anyway, being interested in digital I purchased a Nikon 990 to
see what it was all about and I am really having a blast with it. Of course
my little camera does not compare with medium or large format but it does
pretty good. I got rid of my 35mm stuff years ago because I did not like
the quality I was getting but like I said this little camera, given its
limitations is fun. I think digital will take a good share of the
point-and-shoot market in the next 5-10 years. Like you I think the demand
for that market will drive the suppliers rather than the high end. Oh well,
I think it will be interesting to see how things go for the film camera
market. Like how long will Pentax support the 67II? Will they develop a
digital back for the camera, will another manufacture make a camera that I
can use my 6x7 lenses with, or will I throw it all away because I can not
find film or paper to use in my darkroom?

to meet that demand. There are about a dozen major studios in the Detroit
area that shoot large format. These are the really big studios, the ten to
fifteen thousand dollar per day guys who shoot the car company print
advertising and other commercial jobs. Almost all of them are working
exclusively in digital, with the multi CCD backs on the large format
cameras. Their clients are loving it for a number of reasons of which time

that many of the clients are asking for digital.

will. And I think a lot of other hobbyists and lower tier pros feel the same
way. So the market for high end digital won't be gigantic. But it is
important, and there's a need that has to be filled. This market can only
grow. It won't get smaller.

Hi William - thanks for the reply. You got the cold part right, it was
reported that in a couple of spots here in the valley last night it got down
to a -22! Can you imagine what it must have been up Logan Canyon!!!
Anyway, thanks again. Say if you ever decide to move out of 35mm you would
find the change to the 6x7 Pentax an easy one to make. Beyond that the
camera is just pure fun to use. I love the format and even more I love the
quality of pictures it can produce when compared to 35mm. Something to
consider. Have fun - I think I'll spend this Sat. up Logan Canyon shooting
in the snow. :)

Re: Pentax 6x7II/Digital Back

2001-12-27 Thread Jody L. Reese

Hi Bruce,
Good to hear from a - neighbor?!! Be happy that your in Sacramento (my wife
was born there) right now - last night the temp dropped down to -22 in
parts of the valley!
As for the new 67II, Pentax fixed a number of design problems (like the
shutter release button - weak design) that they had with the older versions.
Don't get me wrong I also have 2 of the older body styles but if you were in
the market for a 6x7 I would get the new version. If you go to the Pentax
web site you will find that until the end of Jan. they are offering a
$200.00 discount if you buy a new Pentax 67II with the new TTL Pentaprism.
Also, if you check out the www.calumentphoto.com web site I believe they are
offering the camera for about $1200. The nice thing about the 6x7 lenses is
that which ever version of that particular lens you may want to buy, they
will fit both the older and the newer body style. Finally, if you want to
get an older style 6x7 for a lot less you can always go to www.ebay.com.
Then go to the medium format section and specify your search to Pentax. If
you have not visited that site you will be surprised at the amount of 6x7
gear sold on ebay! Oh course, it is a buyer beware market but I have bought
a lot of gear that way and have not been burned yet. I should mention that
I screen the people very closely that I am considering buying from before
making a bid but if you follow ebay buyer recommendations hopefully you will
be able to come out ok.

don't even delete if you're too late getting to it,
well not yet anyway.

Pardon me, but I thought work email was for work. I

Speaking of work, I now have 6 minutes to get dressed,

RE: Why are there no primes between 50 and 77mm?

Or 1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,100,121,144,etc (didn't
learn my 13x table).

That is a far more logical sequence, and would pretty
much cover everyone's favourites. 49 is close enough
to 50, 81 is close enough to 85, and there is a 16 and
25 there. And most importantly, my 1 for 360° vision

How Is there some kind of adaptor? I've never
heard of this before. Sounds interesting. What does
best quality mean to you? How are enlarger lenses
classified? ie. do they have 50mm and 85mm, etc; or
are they all the same focal length?

I am thinking now that the Hanimex that I got shown in
Cash Converters was probably an enlarger lens. It had
a screw thread, and the screw end was ?smaller
diameter, although looking at my Spottie now, I'm not
so sure it was smaller. It looked tiny at the time.

No, definitely not. I consider the LX a step forward
from my MZ-30. I love everything about it. But if
you're the type of person who likes auto-everything,
it's not really the camera for you. It really depends
what you want. The MZ-30 was far too automated for
me, but that is just my opinion. Heaps of people like
a camera that is fully automated. I, on the other
hand, like to know that I created a beautiful photo
because of the settings I chose. With my LX, I can.

But you are probably getting a very biased view from
this list. LX'es are extremely popular here. Hey, you
are talking to someone who was converted solely by
this list, having never heard of the LX before. Now I
own one, and am absolutely thrilled by it. There is
such a difference in the photos I am taking.

Why Hanimex is now identical to Pentax.

2001-11-09 Thread Jody

Another email that got lost when the gremlins
unsubscribed me, was about my new (old) lens.

I went to one of the two local camera shops looking
for lenses. I know that the other does wonderful
processing, but has no second-hand gear. Well, turned
out this one had no second-hand gear either, but the
guy suggested Cash Converters (Criminal Central). I
was rather dubious as I had been to CC in other towns,
and nothing remotely Pentax. But I thought it
couldn't hurt to try.

So I went there and asked the sales assistant if there
were any Pentax lenses in the cabinet, they had them
positioned in such a way that it was impossible to
tell. So she started pulling all these lenses out of
the cabinet. "Here, this one's Pentax", she said.
OK, since when does Hanimex=Pentax? The thread wasn't
even the right diameter. After pulling out a few more
which she insisted were Pentax, but surprisingly
weren't, I was astonished to discover that the next
few she handed me were actually Pentaxes.

There were three of them, all M lenses, M55:f2 or f4 I
think, M50:f4 and the one I finally chose M50:f1.7.
It is in pretty darn good condition too, complete with
Zenith Tempest 1A skylight. It cost me NZ$69
(~US$50). I am quite happy with it. I keep
nostalgically fantasising about the M50:f1.4 on my
Spotmatic, but then again, how much difference really
between f1.4 and f1.7? I love these M lenses though.
They just seem to have that nice feel to them, lovely
to hold, lovely to focus.

Nice one. Too bad if they are tourists. Although I
guess if you try 50 different people you will get some
idea. I think if you do this with a 1000mm lens, you

In 3 weeks (all going well) I will have a car anyway.
It will help me carry my Pentax gear around - see it

That is if our national airline doesn't go bust in the

carry any film in my pockets. My dad is a mechanic and

Help!! I can't work my LX.

2001-09-29 Thread Jody

I am a little ashamed to admit, the subject line is
true.

I plugged my M100 f4 macro onto the front. I also
tried my FA35-80 f4-f5.6. Then I put some film in.
When I try on manual, the shutter won't release at
all, at various shutter speeds, although it goes down
halfway and a red light comes on in the viewfinder by
the LTB symbol, although once I briefly got a yellow
light before it went to LTB. When I set it to
automatic, no matter how much light or what aperture,
the shutter (or mirror) stays open (or up) for at
least a few seconds. I don't know how long it would
stay if I left it alone, probably forever. I left it
for about ½hr once and it still didn't shut (before I
put film in). But as soon as I turn the shutter-speed
off automatic, it clicks shut.

What is happening? I was sure the M-lens at least
would be compatible. Battery perhaps?

Please help. I have a B&W photography night-course
starting in a few weeks and I don't really want to
insult the art by using my MZ-30, although will if I
have to. I still haven't taken one decent photo with
it. I took a couple today, but moved the camera around
to see what was happening, so I don't expect any
masterpieces.

Re: OT Replacement ink cartridges - Yooouuuuch!!!!

2001-09-22 Thread Jody

Also you replace the print heads each time you buy a
new cartridge. Epson printer cartridges are cheaper
because the print heads are built into the printer.
But when they wear out, it is apparently cheaper to
buy a new printer than get them repaired. So each has
it's disadvantages. I have an HP printer which has the
expensive cartridges, but I haven't yet had to buy
any. I am scared to check the price. It will be more
in NZ$, I bet.

Re: Massive Attack Seems Likely

2001-09-15 Thread Jody

Too bad about the millions of innocent people whose
only crime was being born into the same country as a
handful of terrorists.

And then there are the survivors. No sanitary
hospitals for them to go into, as there would be if
they lived in the US. They will be left to wallow
homeless (homes bombed) in their own filth, picking up
whatever disease is on the menu.

Why does America insist on sinking to the terrorists
level? How is this going to help? Surely enough
innocent people have died.

Re: Silent Lenses

What's with this obsession with digital?

I showed my flatmate my new LX. He said I shouldn't
have wasted my money. He said I already have a camera
(my MZ-30), and I should have got a digital so that I
can manipulate the images on my computer.

I don't want digital. I bought an LX because that
was what I wanted. My MZ-30 is so automated. I think I
will use it for snapshots only. If I had wanted a P&S
digital, I would have got a P&S digital. I don't want
to manipulate anything on my computer. I don't want a
camera where you just push the button and it's done. I
want to have far more control over the photo than
that.

On a completely different tack - My first LX.

2001-09-13 Thread Jody

This seems to be off-topic at the moment. I am not
trying to be insensitive, but I had to share. I waited
a whole 13 hours.

I got my very first LX today. It is so wonderfully
gorgeous. I fall more in love with it every moment (I
really need to get out more, don't I). It is lovely to
hold, and wind on. The shutter makes a glorious clunk.
It reminds me of my beloved Spottie, only better.

Now I have one or two (maybe more) questions.
1. I remember some talk about the tri-function lever
on the front. MLU which I managed, and what else? I
seem to remember something about a self-timer, but
can't seem to work it.
2. The dial on top has me really perplexed. It goes
from ¼x to 4x. What is it?
3. Doesn't it work with FA lens on shutter-priority? I
thought I had wrecked it, because the mirror got
locked up when I pressed the shutter. However, after a
while I thought of turning S/S dial off auto, and it
came down.
4. Serial number 527. How old?
5. Can you get the lugs and grip off? How? How strong
are the lugs?

Thanks for your help.

I am doing a B&W photography course at the local
Polytech starting 23rd October evenings for eight
weeks. I think there is a field-trip too on a weekend.
That should be fun to use a darkroom again.

Jody.

RE: The WTC constructions

2001-09-12 Thread Jody

Who designed the Pentagon anyway and when? I wonder
why they didn't just paint a large target on the top.
I mean, it is kind of out there in the open a bit, and
so large and close to the sea. I don't think I would
have chosen to work there. Although I am saying this
in hindsight, and I feel terrible for all the people
who did choose to work there, and their families. I
can't even imagine losing one of my colleagues, but to
lose so many at once.

I can't help thinking of a very popular computer game
at the moment, Command & Conquer. In one of the
missions, you play the Russians, and your job is to
completely destroy the Pentagon. I didn't think for a
second that someone might actually put that into
practise. I can't remember what the other missions
are. Don't know if the WTC was one. I wonder if
anyone else has thought of this game.

OT, but all else seems trivial.

2001-09-12 Thread Jody

To all US members,

Please know that I am thinking of you during this
tragedy. I could not bring myself to watch too much of
the news tonight or today. It was far too distressing,
and I don't even have family in the US. It must be so
much harder for you. The worst bit was when they were
talking to a prominent guy in politics. He had had two
calls from his wife who was on one of the planes, and
then I guess he never heard from her again. She wasn't
even supposed to be on the plane, but stayed an extra
day with him in Washington for his birthday. It must
be so hard for him.

Please try and talk Dubya out of war. I don't think it
solves things. I know you are all angry but no need to
sink to their level. War would be even more of a
terrible tragedy.

Stay strong but don't be afraid to cry. I am almost
crying myself, and I am normally such a hard woman.

With love and best wishes,
Jody.

I didn't think they were too dark. I thought they were
brilliant. I like night shots to look like night. If
they don't, what's the point? Only one problem: makes
me want to go and see the view for myself.

Scary. It almost looks like he was posessed by demons

until now has been spotless. Or perhaps he is not who

find/crack someone else's password. Although the same
ID's turn up again and again in his feedback. Maybe he
just has a lot of equally scummy friends. I can't see
what the items were that they were bidding on.

The only thing that may make me wary from now on, is
that all his info looks like it has been poached from
an official website somewhere. Perhaps it is better to
go for items with fuzzy, overexposed photos, because
at least you know they have actually had the item
there to take a photo of at some stage.

He actually had the audacity to leave feedback for the
people he ripped off, thanking them for their prompt
payment.

I'm with Annsan. I thought it was a bit sad too, that
he (I forget who) has to improve the view of the world
through his photos. There is so much beauty in the
world anyway, and the thought that maybe he hasn't
seen as much of it as other people is a bit sad.
Although it sounds a nice idea. I just wish I could
create a more perfect life through photography.

Finally, of course people should be able to critique
another's sentence. It doesn't necessarily mean we
disagree. I don't think Annsan did disagree, just that
she has probably seen less hardship than him. And I
know if it was something that other people did agree
with, it would be considered perfectly acceptable for
them to say so.

Black and white photography sans Darkroom.

2001-08-29 Thread Jody

Ah, I wondered about that. There is no chance of me
getting a darkroom at this point. I don't have my own
house. But having the (albeit chromogenic) prints now
would be good. And then, at some stage, I would like a
darkroom in my own house (along with white picket
fence & rose garden). So I would like to be able to
dig my negatives out and play with them at a later
date.

On a slightly different tangent. I have all these B&W
negatives from school photography. There just wasn't
enough hours in the school year to get them all
printed. I went into a lab a few years back, and they
said to print them from negatives, I would have to pay
about NZ$1 per print just to get normal size prints.
This seems quite a lot, and would end up costing more
I think than D&P. So then I was wondering about
scanning negatives into my computer. I have HP Scanjet
3300C. Any point in trying to use this, or will I just
ruin my negs and my scanner? I don't think my scanner
gets hot through normal use. Or would it maybe be
better to get a copy centre to scan them onto CD for
me? Is this likely to be cheaper than prints from
negative? And is it safe for my negatives?

Also, how good are prints made onto photo-quality
paper using an inkjet printer and HP photo cartridges?
I imagine not as good as ones you print yourself in
the darkroom, but am I likely to be disappointed? I
have not shelled out megabucks for the paper and
cartridge yet.

Thanks in advance,
Jody.

RE: picking black and white print film

Or you could always just "enlarge" them on a blank
wall using a slide projector. Does anyone do
slideshows anymore? I remember as a child sitting with
my family watching the slides that my parents took of
their honeymoon and other holidays. It was really neat
to do, and it helped us feel close as a family. Mind
you, that was in the good old days, before my parents
decided to go their separate ways.

Someday when I am home, I will have to see if I can
dig out those slides and have a look. Slides are so
cool. I think my dad must have taken them with his
Spotmatic too - see I am on topic. My mother has/(used
to have) a box Brownie too, which would be cool to
see, now that I have discovered photography. I wonder
if she still has it. I must ask. Can you still get
film for them?

Re: Manual Pentaxes with mirror lock-up

2001-08-29 Thread Jody

Thanks for that. I will have to practice on my
Spotmatic sometime. I tried a few times just then.
Let's just say I am glad there was no film in it :)

I don't know what the All-Blacks achievements are
lately. I don't really care, it's just a game. I know
they lost a big match recently. You can tell because
no-one says a word about it. I think they have a lot
of fair-weather friends. I am not such a hypocrite. I
just consistently ignore them and eventually they go
away :)

Yes, silly me :) I realised that once I read ahead a
few emails, but by then it was too late. Melbourne is
nice, I've been there too, although a little too busy
and I got completely lost a few times :)

Re: Week 4 Picture of the Week

2001-08-26 Thread Jody

The sunlight falling on the haze towards the horizon
really adds something. That would be the dusty WA
earth I suppose. I was watching it slowly loading and
thinking just another boring silhouette, but as soon
as that horizon appeared, I decided I really liked it.
My silhouettes just seem to look uninteresting when I
have tried, a bit like the top two centimetres of
yours. But having said that, the bottom 28 or so
centimetres just make the picture work.

Nice photo. I think however it would have been
improved if the blue jeep/car in the corner was not
visible. It seems to distract me.

Well of course all the rest of the world could never

Re: Attachments part 2

2001-08-25 Thread Jody

Oh, we're used to that from Kevin. There is another
guy who sends us little Winmail attachments each time.
I forget who, I only remember his name begins with
"Win". So does mine, and you don't catch me sending
them (that was Yahoo last time, not me). Maybe he just
needs an upgrade to Male V2.5. That version has a few
minor bugs straightened out.

I prefer the golden kiwifruit with yellow insides and
less hair. But I don't know if you would get those in
the US. They are bred in NZ, and only a few growers
are permitted to grow them. They don't have that
horrible metallic taste you sometimes get with green
kiwifruit.

No, actually it lasted 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 25
seconds (or 15:25:02 for any Americans out there )

Don't worry, I bet they lied about the condition (Is
it working yet? I'm trying to make you feel better).
