2002-08-24 Thread Dennis Harwood
Hi Jan,

I know with the process of making good colloidal silver can sound
intimidating with all the discussion about it, but you can buy a very
good unit that is as simple to use as pouring distilled water in a glass
and turning a switch. Twenty minutes or so later, you turn the unit off
and drink your CS. The cost of decent colloidal silver can be as high
as $15 - $20 for a few ounces. Why pay that when you can buy a silver
maker for around $100 and make a dozens and dozens of gallons for the
cost of the distilled water?

The commercial stuff is simply too expensive and no one can afford
to take it in the amounts that are normally used by people actively
taking CS. Don't worry about how hard it is to make. It really is easy
to make good quality that is effective without being a rocket scientist.

I tried the Master Cleanse Diet and highly recommend it. It is
amazing that you can consume only lemons and maple syrup (the real
stuff) and not feel like your starving. I looked into it quite a bit
before starting and found that the nutrients in the maple syrup are very
important, and that lemons may be considered a fruit from the tree of
life. Between glasses of the lemonade I would consume 1/4 cup of 15 ppm
CS 3-4 times a day.

I could not tolerate the taste that the cayenne pepper imparted to the
mix so I bought a cayenne supplement from a local health food store and
took two capsules with each glass of lemonade. The cayenne made it to
the stomach without having to taste it. This made the diet very
tolerable, without those capsules I don't think I could have drank much
of it for long. I made a blender pitcher of it at a time, and I pureed
the whole lemon, seeds, rind and all, added the water and maple syrup.
It's been about a year and I starting thinking about it again a few
weeks ago. I'm going to do it again soon.

One last note, apparently the high citric acid content of the lemons is
bad for the tooth enamel, so I always rinsed my mouth with water after
consumption.

RE: CSbuying cs instead of making it.

2002-08-24 Thread ja...@tir.com

Hi Jan,

I am a firm believer that whatever CS you buy or make, the best results
will come from the products that contain the majority of the silver in
the form of silver ions and any particles contained in such solution be
very small, 10 nanometer or less in diameter, smaller is better. I
believe, after much personal study, that products high in silver
particles are basically useless compared to silver ion products. Why?
Because silver, or any mineral for that matter, must be in ionic form
to interact with a biological system. Silver particles are very stable
and are not even effected by our stomachs hydrochloric acid. The acid
content of the blood is very low also and does little to release ions
from the silver particles. Blood is actually slightly basic (non-acid).
pH of the plasma is controlled by the body at 7.4 (7.35 - 7.45). Most
particles are eliminated by the body before they release many ions.
Also, the majority of CS produced by users at home is mainly ionic, and
many great results from many different people have been reported with
that type of silver, ionic. While it may be true that silver ions are
affected by stomach acid and other ions in the blood, our bodies produce
a molecule called metalloprotein that latches on to free metallic ions
and transport them throughout the body and prevent free ions from
affecting it. Our saliva has over 200 different proteins and fully one
third of body proteins are metalloproteins. Thus, reactive ions
(missing one or more electrons) can be transported past the stomach and
through the circulatory system without local reactions. How these
metalloproteins with silver ions interact with pathogens is currently
beyond my knowledge, however, I should have some of those answers soon.

I have been very pleased with the results and the price of the CS
supplied by www.silvershield.biz The price I paid works out to 47 cents
an ounce. I believe they also have available a constant current
generator to produce either a quart or a gallon of CS. There are also
links to various studies and information such as I've included here.

Good Luck

Rob

lighten hyperpigmented areas. There are two well known products with
bleaching mechanisms effective on the skin, hydroquinone and kojic
acid. Another effective product for bleaching and evening pigmented
spots is Mandelic Acid. These are used to treat various pigmented
spots such as age spots, melasma, and freckles.

Hydroquinone lightens the color of the skin areas to which it is
applied by killing off the melanin making cells (known as the
melanocyte). It is the only FDA approved product for bleaching. It
does this for about 60-70% of its users. LustraR is one of the most
well known prescription hydroquinone products. Its 4% Hydroquinone
concentration can provide results in as little as four weeks. Lustra
can be obtained from a pharmacy with a doctor's precription. Any
hydroquinone products available without requiring a prescription
cannot have more than 2% hydroquinone. Medical researchers have
established that 70% of patients who use skin creams containing
Hydroquinone for an extended period of time (one-three years) develop
Exogenous Ochronosis, an irreversible disfiguring cosmetic problem.
Cosmetic Ochronosis, Cosmetic Ochronosis (also known as Exogenous
Ochronosis) was first described by Findlay and his group of
researchers in 1975. This group found that the continued use of HQ
based skin bleaching products lead to a progressive discoloration of
the skin. However, since most hydroquinone products are used only
within a three month period, this is usually not a problem.
When using Hydroquinone, it is imperative to stay out of the sun for
the treatment to work. Always wear full spectrum sunblock and a hat.
Exposure to sun deteriorates the hydroquinone, rendering it
ineffective. If you are planning on being in the sun, use a
hydroquinone-free formula, such as the pHaze13 *HQ free Pigment Gel.

Is this the best product for you?
In any event, I do not know whether CS will form compounds with the
Hydroquinone or anything else present in the cream, but I cannot see
any reason for adding CS to the cream in the first place.

Regards
Ivan.

That would be quite a feat. A free radical has more energy than a compound at
ground state. This can be done by any element or compound that takes place in a
reaction, but silver does not react at all, it is simply a catalyst. So if
indeed silver can create free radicals without any external energy input, we
have
discovered a new energy source and our energy problems should be solved!

What documentation is there for this amazing feat?

But it is a heavy metal that is being induced into the body.

HEAVY METALS LIKE LEAD, MERCURY, CADMIUM, WHICH SLOWLY BUILD UP IN THE BODY

WHO SAYS? SO IS IRON A TRANSITION METAL AND IT GENERATES MOST DISEASE WHEN

IT IS UNBOUND. ANY OF THESE METALS CAN GENERATE TOXICITY.

Iron is absolutely necessary for life for any form that uses hemoglobin. Too
much of it is toxic. Small amounts are absolutely essential. We are talking
about amounts of silver probably 1/10,000 of that which is considered safe for
iron.

What evidence is there for toxicity for silver metal? I have been looking for
ANY
study that has shown that for silver for years, and have never come up with a
single one. If you know of one, I would sure like to see it.

4 YEARS IS NOT LONG TERM. GIVE YOURSELF MORE TIME.

What evidence do you have for this claim? Those who have been taking it as long
as it has been available to the general public have never reported any problems
that I am aware of. If no one has been taking it long enough to cause these
problems, then how do you know they are problems?

ALSO IRON IS BUILDING UP IN YOUR TISSUES, AS OCCURS IN ALL MALES WHO HAVE

  NO OUTLET FOR IT.

I agree with that. The body binds iron. The body doe not bind silver. We are
comparing apples and oranges here. Silver is a noble metal, iron is a ferris
metal.

Well, maybe the iron thing is worth checking out; hadn't heard about
 that before.

Yes it is true. Too much iron can be a real problem for men. It normally is not
for women, except after menopause, or if they have had a hysterectomy.

Nope, silver kills both quite effectively. Since many bacteria can switch from
one to the other that is good.

If it crosses into the cell can it not then harm it somehow?

Silver is non toxic to mammelian cells.

Also, in my early experiments of '98 I found vit.C/ascorbic acid to work the
best as an electrolyte- virtually always bringing the ions to colloidal
size-thus the yellow coloration shows itself. Making yellow colloids is what
I learned from DR. Peter Reynolds and others. I do not understand ionic. It
seems to me it is just another way of saying molecular, which I equate with
 bad.

No ionic is atomic, with one or more extra or missing electrons. If you have a
cation though, it can form a compound.

Who were the first one or two people to promote ionic and where is
their research to be found. I want to be able to debunk it properly or not
at all. Can anyone answer this.

There has been a lot of discussion here on ionic vs colloidal. Since most LVDC
CS is 90 to 95% ionic, there has been some speculation that ionic is taking part
in the action. There is good evidence that silver kills pathogens both in
metalic and ionic form. For instance, silver metal is used to sterlize water
for airplanes, the shuttle, and many water filters. Silver nitrate, which has
an ionic form of silver along with a nitrate radical has a long history of
killing bacteria, and has been used, and still is, in newborn baby's eyes to
kill gonneriah.

It appears that both forms work. Which works better is still up for dispute.
But there are other things to look at.

1. ionic form can cause blueing of the skin under some circumstances with high
dosages. It is generally believed that colloid cannot do this.
2. ionic can penetrate into cells easier than colloid. This can possibly be
good for topical applications trying to get to something under the skin. DMSO
appears to be capable of carrying ionic silver deep into tissues easily. It is
debatable whether DMSO can accomplish this with colloid.
3. colloid will not end up reacting with the HCl in the stomach and
precipitating out like ionic would be expected to do.

So the best guess I have is that ionic might be best for topical application,
and colloidal for taking internally. Since most CS is a combination of the two,
then it is very effective in all respects.
