Hi, that sounds just right; DMSO solidifies at around 60 degrees F, and
giving it a day at room temp or a little higher (a Little, now!) should
redissolve it. Meanwhile, I expect you can just pour out what you need and
let the rest sit. Not an expert, just my opinion.

Subject: Re: CSPh of Distilled water?

 Hi Nenah,

With all due respects to your education, the fact is that what is being sold
as
distilled water does not have a pH of 7 !!!

PURE water is very aggressive and is not called the universal solvent without
 reason.

 Ole Bob

Bob,
There is no argument between us. Please hear what I am saying. I think this is
important enough to post to the list; I hope you don't mind (even though you
courteously sent me this message privately).

By definition, if something marketed as distilled water has a pH of either
higher or lower than 7.0, it is no longer distilled, or pure -- that is,
containing SOLELY hydrogen or oxygen. Any pH of higher or lower than 7.0 means
that the water has *something else* in it. The moment water containing solely
hydrogen and oxygen leaches something into it, it is no longer distilled. This
is not something I am making up; it's simply the definition of distilled water.

It is very easy for DW to lose its distilled status precisely *because* it
does such a good job of leaching out things from its environment. If water is
called the universal solvent (which I already know) -- and for a good
reason -- consider how much of a solvent DISTILLED water can be. Distilled
water, which does not exist in nature, can be an even more aggressive solvent:
the moment DW touches something, it will dissolve something into itself -- in
many instances even more aggressively than non-distilled water -- in an effort
to balance itself by bringing dissolved sediments, minerals, etc. into itself.

It is difficult to obtain genuine, pure distilled water precisely *because* the
moment the DW touches something, it will begin to either interact with its
container (leaching out plastic, for instance), or the air (leaching out carbon
dioxide, thus making the water undesirably acidic if you're using it for
drinking).

It is fortunate indeed that water with a 5.5 pH (which is *incorrectly* marketed
as distilled, even though it may have been distilled *before* being poured
into its plastic container) has been found by many people to be good for making
colloidal silver. However, it is a problem for ME. I know how harmful it can be
to drink acidic water.

The drinking of acidic water will have to be balanced against the benefits of
using colloidal silver. I am not at all making a case against CS -- I have seen
the tremendous benefits of CS. What I am commenting on is the use of
*excessively* acidic water to make CS. I did not drink my last batch of CS for a
reason; and I think that reason was because my intuition was telling me that
that particular batch of CS was too acidic for either me or my animals to drink.
In other words, it is possible for the microbe-killing abilities of the CS to be
outweighed by the ability of acidic water to harm the system.

My education about distilled water is sound, and I stand behind it. For my
research on distilled water that I included in my Rife Handbook, I enlisted the
help of chemist Dr. Dick Wullaert, head of the Functional Water Society with
years of experience in water, minerals, water electrolysis, and more. Dick has
worked with top scientists all over the world developing various electrolyzed
and so-called clustered waters. I trust Dick's experience and research. I do
not make this post lightly and am not villifying anyone for using acidic water
to make CS. Rather, I am stating my *own* preference to obtain distilled water
in as pure state as possible, due to the numerous serious problems that arise
when people drink acidic water.

I encourage you or anyone else to read the excerpt on water and minerals from my
Rife Handbook. To learn more about pH and the body, click the Products link,
then Inner Light, and then the article called Why You Need To Detoxify Your
System.

I would still love to find a good source of distilled water that is as close to
a pH or 7.0 as possible, as I miss not having colloidal silver to use against
infections. I welcome all suggestions, especially about who sells the best
distiller.

Best regards,
Nenah

More CS Data

2003-10-01 Thread Robert Berger
Hi Ya'all,

This will make Mike Monett's allergies blow their tops!!

First some background. I had 12 one gallon jugs of of DW delivered to me
and they are all from the same plant, the same still, and bottled at the
same time. I know their date coding.

The first 2 gallon run yesterday was made using a constant voltage
supply of 36 volts. The run was for 3.5 hours, the integral of the
current from 0 to 3.5 hrs.. is 17.6278 mAHrs. The Ag+ = 13.6 ppm, the pH
is 6.98 Almost no T.E. or sparkles. The anode weight loss is 0.22 gms.
The final conductance was 65.5 uS/cm.

Today I made 2 gallon run using the same instrumentation and equipment
with the exception I added a current limiting device set to limit at
6.34 mA.

This run was for 5.5 hrs.. to reach the same conductance level of 65.5
uS/cm.
The Ag+ = 7.92 ppm, pH = 6.42, noticeable T.E. and many sparkles. The
integral of the current from 0 to 5.5 hrs.. is 25.159 mAHrs. The anode
weight loss is 0.10 gms.

Note the ratios: Weight loss 0.10/0.22 = .4545. PPM 7.92/13.6 = .5823

Considering that my 3 beam balance is only calibrated to 0.10 grams,
there appears a reasonable relationship between weight loss and the
amount of silver present.
Remember PPM is really uG/mL or a weight measure.

I wish that many of you would request the Wplot32.exe program so that
you can look at the data plot. If you just download the attached files
you can look at the data by opening the file with notepad

I wonder id there is ANYONE on this list that records and plots the data
that they tout on this list???

Sorry Mike, but I am not untrustworthy nor a fool nor is my data
unreliable as I have standards for everything, besides having five
independent labs verify my work.

How many labs have checked your work???

List please pardon the above but the is a level of arrogance and
ignorance that I will ot put up with.

   Ken, and all,

It is looking like I have found the problem, but I won't be 100%
certain until I have run a few more batches.

It is seems very likely that the problem is indeed a contaminant,
and that the contaminant(s) are the spray kitchen cleaners I use -
1 spray bottle of peroxide and 1 of white vinegar. I use these
many times per day to clean counters, stove top, sink, etc. and
absolutely never gave it a thought. Since stopping that I have now
made 3 perfectly clear batches, one in the Silvergen and 2 in the
   Silverpuppy.

Both generators are *closed* very well in operation, so it never
occurred to me that contamination could happen with my sprays.

However, looking round the kitchen, I see that overspray could
easily have also been getting onto the paper towels I use to wipe
electrodes. And how long spray mist particles can stay suspended
in air, I have no idea.

If the problem really is this simple, I'm going to gag over all
the time I've spent beating my head against the wall. But Trem
says it could very well be the vinegar.

When a thousand people use the same generator and 2 or 3 people make
a CS that goes yellow over a period of time and not entirely
consistantly at that...I think there may be some other factor at
   work.

  Paula, Ken,

Paula's experience might be a good lesson for us all. Contamination
might help explain why some people have unexplainable problems
getting repeatable results with their cs.

I got very ill several years ago drinking contaminated cs. Since
then, I am religious about not allowing anything to touch the
electrodes, keeping them in the air while transferring the cs to
another container, and keeping the generator tightly closed at all
  times.

Since then, along with a reliable source of dw and a precision
constant current source, I have no problems making highly repeatable
  cs.

I am experimenting with colloidal copper to kill the mold spores
that constantly plague me. I'm starting to achieve some positive
results, but I'm finding colloidal copper is much harder to make
than ordinary cs, and much more sensitive to contamination.

It is difficult to get above about 3 ppm (calculated), and very
difficult to get repeatable results from one batch to the next. The
results are not only non-repeatable, they are not even similar.

I took a hint from your experience, and soaked the glassware and
electrodes in fresh isopropyl alcohol, then wiped everything dry
  with plain unbleached toilet tissue.

I'm starting another batch and will see if this helps.

  Thanks for your posts!

Best Regards,

Mike Monett

Good question, Paula. Certain liquids that register acid on pH paper have
ingredients in them OTHER THAN the hydrogen and oxygen (which combined form
water) that turns to alkaline ash in the body.

I don't know if this is true for CS or not. No one has ever done a test on this

As for distilled water: it appears that DW acidifies the body. But there's a lot
more to it than that. Why don't you read the excerpt on my website, it's free.

with as James Carr has, the company tells me, is also known as Greg
Caton. Why two names I do not know. Anyway, he is in jail and will
not be released I am told.

The company has no products anywhere, the correspondent writes.

I think this is bad news. As for the need for two names for
Carr/Caton, I have no idea about that and hope to find out more.I
do not like the sound of that, frankly. All the same, I know that
some of the products work very well, exactly as claimed.

Re: CSRE: altcancer.com and orderiing

2003-10-01 Thread Jason Eaton
Greetings, all:

As I mentioned previously, I have secured all of the data from altcancer.com,
which is now offline. The staff of Alpha Omega Labs has asked me to make
available, at this time, two informational documents for public viewing, which,
the principal interests being in jail currently, truly reach very close to home!

I have added a statement and links @ silvermedicine.org

http://www.silvermedicine.org
http://www.silvermedicine.org/altcancer/lysis.htm
http://www.silvermedicine.org/altcancer/lsysis5.htm

I have no problem, if it becomes necessary, making the entire website available
on a CD. However, I'd like to ask to hold off on that a bit, as I will have to
redo much of the linking structure of the website, as some of the images and
hyperlinks are referenced via their actual domain name ( known as an absolute
url rather than a relative url )-- this means if I burn a CD as is, quite a few
of the images and links will show as being broken even though the images and
files are actually present, because the browser will be looking for the images
on Alpha Omega's altcancer.com website, which currently no longer exists.

Going through the files I've saved, every once in a long while I come across an
image that wasn't downloaded for one reason or another ( probably a server
hickup ), but everything is intact. If I have to change all of the link and
image references so that they work properly from a local source ( such as a CD
), this will not be a problem. However, all of this will hopefully not be
necessary. As it stands, viewing the site from a local hard drive, another
server, or a CD results in broken links and broken images.

I would prefer to see how things pan out, and have offered to make the complete
website available online as an independent and non-materially linked party. In
this scenario, the Alpha Omega Labs name would have to be removed from the
information, and substituted with something like information about Alpha Omega
Labs Products... Or a similiar arrangment, minus the store.

In fact, it was alot easier for me to simply upload the whole website rather
than just a few files ( just a few clicks rather than a few dozen clicks ), and
being the lazy individual I am, I just renamed the main index page to
z9_index.htm so that nobody would be ever be able to figure out what the old
index page was, and so that nobody would be able access any of the other pages
which are present on the server. After all, nobody would be able to guess that
all the files ( not the videos or a few subdirectories, but all of the data )
are actually in the subdirectory altcancer on the silvermedicine.org domain.
Accessing these files is NOT permitted by the public, is NOT available from a
publically linked access point, is NOT authorized by anyone, and constitutes a
breach of my server privacy and unauthorized use of my bandwidth, and it is
going to make me VERY upset if anyone accesses them.

I would like to wait to see what strategy Alpha Omega Labs wants to go with
before writing them-- and their website -- as completely done with.

Best Regards,

Jason

Re: CSPh of Distilled water?

2003-10-01 Thread Jonathan B. Britten
One comment on the below: I work (as a non-scientist) in a university
specializing in nutrition. One colleague told me not so long ago about
the difficulty of getting reliable distilled water; even from the best
suppliers, selling top-grade DW with elaborate labeling, in brown
glass bottles, the stuff changes over time. In particular, the pH at
the time of use is often different from the number on the label at time
of bottling.

My colleague said that the water and the glass react, and implied that
this variation in PH is just accepted as a part of life in science. I
have no more details than this; it may be they send the water back to
the vendor for a fresher batch when this happens, or maybe they just
record the PH variation in their scientific papers. I did not press
for details at the time; I was just trying to get some DW for my own
needs. (I ended up ordering Springfield DW from an importer. It
works fine.)

Bottom line: even PhD nutrition scientists have to deal with
variations in PH due to the interaction of water and the container.

Hi Nenah,

With all due respects to your education, the fact is that what is
being sold

as

distilled water does not have a pH of 7 !!!

PURE water is very aggressive and is not called the universal solvent
without

reason.

Ole Bob

Bob,
There is no argument between us. Please hear what I am saying. I think
this is
important enough to post to the list; I hope you don't mind (even
though you

courteously sent me this message privately).

By definition, if something marketed as distilled water has a pH of
either
higher or lower than 7.0, it is no longer distilled, or pure -- that
is,
containing SOLELY hydrogen or oxygen. Any pH of higher or lower than
7.0 means
that the water has *something else* in it. The moment water containing
solely
hydrogen and oxygen leaches something into it, it is no longer
distilled. This
is not something I am making up; it's simply the definition of
distilled water.

It is very easy for DW to lose its distilled status precisely
*because* it
does such a good job of leaching out things from its environment. If
water is

called the universal solvent (which I already know) -- and for a good
reason -- consider how much of a solvent DISTILLED water can be.
Distilled
water, which does not exist in nature, can be an even more aggressive
solvent:
the moment DW touches something, it will dissolve something into
itself -- in
many instances even more aggressively than non-distilled water -- in
an effort
to balance itself by bringing dissolved sediments, minerals, etc. into
itself.

It is difficult to obtain genuine, pure distilled water precisely
*because* the
moment the DW touches something, it will begin to either interact with
its
container (leaching out plastic, for instance), or the air (leaching
out carbon
dioxide, thus making the water undesirably acidic if you're using it
for

drinking).

It is fortunate indeed that water with a 5.5 pH (which is
*incorrectly* marketed
as distilled, even though it may have been distilled *before* being
poured
into its plastic container) has been found by many people to be good
for making
colloidal silver. However, it is a problem for ME. I know how harmful
it can be

to drink acidic water.

The drinking of acidic water will have to be balanced against the
benefits of
using colloidal silver. I am not at all making a case against CS -- I
have seen

the tremendous benefits of CS. What I am commenting on is the use of
*excessively* acidic water to make CS. I did not drink my last batch
of CS for a
reason; and I think that reason was because my intuition was telling
me that
that particular batch of CS was too acidic for either me or my animals
to drink.
In other words, it is possible for the microbe-killing abilities of
the CS to be

outweighed by the ability of acidic water to harm the system.

My education about distilled water is sound, and I stand behind it.
For my
research on distilled water that I included in my Rife Handbook, I
enlisted the
help of chemist Dr. Dick Wullaert, head of the Functional Water
Society with
years of experience in water, minerals, water electrolysis, and more.
Dick has
worked with top scientists all over the world developing various
electrolyzed
and so-called clustered waters. I trust Dick's experience and
research. I do
not make this post lightly and am not villifying anyone for using
acidic water
to make CS. Rather, I am stating my *own* preference to obtain
distilled water
in as pure state as possible, due to the numerous serious problems
that arise

when people drink acidic water.

I encourage you or anyone else to read the excerpt on

2003-10-01 Thread Jonathan B. Britten

List,

I think I can speak for everyone here when I say thank you to Jason
for capturing the extensive and priceless pages from the altcancer.com
web site prior to the unconscionable shut-down of the site.

I am certain of very few things in this world, but I am fairly sure
that if this information is separated from the sale of the (excellent
and effective) products, no one in the USA will be able to suppress
the information. There are constitutional freedoms of free speech
guaranteed even under the current regime.

I note that unlike some other companies recently under FDA scrutiny,
altcancer has clear labels of all ingredients on the products, which
means that the basic recipes for most of the proprietary products are
known to us, which is good news indeed. If worse comes to worse,
perhaps we will be able to get detailed instructions for producing some
of these fine, effective anti-cancer substances, such as the Cancema
salve. But I do hope the products will be available again in time.

I watched the entire online video about the Hoxey clinics some months
ago, and was impressed by it. I recall being particularly amused by
a middle-aged Middle American woman who'd had a huge tumor in her arm
removed by a surgeon, only to have the growth return. Her MD wanted
to remove her arm. She decided to go to Tijuana, Mexico, to the Hoxey
clinic. As she recounted her conversation with her furious American
MD:

They will just take all of your money, the surgeon said.

They can't, the woman replied. You already did.

According to the video, the woman received the same sort of escharotic
herbal treatment sold by altcancer as Cancema Salve, and within a few
weeks the tumor was destroyed and fell out of her arm.Her cost for
a two-week stay was about $1,500, if memory serves me.

Many similar testimonials are meticulously documented in the altcancer
pages that Jason, bless him, has salvaged at the last moment.

2003-10-01 Thread Al Davis
Hi Robert.

I have used an Omron compressor type nebulizer to treat a case
of recurring bronchitis/pneumonia which plagued me for about
15 years. Antibiotics had never done anything except suppress it
for a while, and I could always feel a slight irritation when I took a
deep breath. About two weeks of nebulizing CS completely
eliminated the problem and I have absolutely no trace of irritation
remaining, and I haven't nebulized for close to a year.

The compressor types are noisy and bulky. The ultrasonics are
small, silent and you can use them anywhere, any time. I haven't
used the Mystique, but a friend has one and I haven't heard anything
negative in regard to it.

As an aside, I recently saw a post from someone that breathing in
through the mouth caused them to cough. This is normal but it
only lasts for a few breaths, then the bronchial tubes accept it.
At least this was my experience. If you take it in through the nose,
most of it condenses on the hairs in the nose, some gets to the sinuses (if
you breathe hard enough) and very little to the lungs.
Persist with the mouth breathing and you should be O.K.

Hope this helps.

for a while, and I could always feel a slight irritation when I took a
deep breath.

Thank you Al. It helps me a lot since I'm so new to nebulizing. I
noticed the cough and then tried to breathe deeply through the nose and
then go back to mouth breathing. I will persist from now on.

Again, thanks,

DL

I've also had a bit of correspondence with him, mainly about soybeans

Re: CSYellow tinted CS!!

2003-10-01 Thread Al Davis
Mike,

I may have a partial answer to your problem, but we use very different
set-ups for making our brew. I use a silvergen SG-6
with different electrodes than standard. I made some copper electrodes
using electrical copper wire (very pure-about .9995)
just for a lark. I experienced a very strange phenomenon.
The SG-6 is current controlled to about 1 mA and has automatic
shutoff at about 6.5 volts at full setting. At least it does with silver
electrodes.

Here's where we get into the twilight zone! With the copper electrodes
everything proceeds as usual until I get to about
5 micro-seimens on the PWT. The CC is colorless and has no
Tyndall effect. This occurs at about 17 volts.. From there on
the current remains constant AND the voltage remains constant!
The brew begins to take on a distinct copper color and has a
very strong tyndall effect! Apparently, the setup makes ionic copper
to a certain voltage and then suddenly shifts into making only
colloidal metal particles! (It did not prove to be stable).

I don't know what happens with a constant voltage low current density method
such as you use, but perhaps this will offer a
clue, since it seems copper and silver behave very differently.

Hope this helps.

 Mike Monett

I ordered stuff from Lumen (some of it I liked, other stuff wasn't my
style :) and I also ordered from Alpha Omega Labs. The quality from
both was good, IMO. And the prices from Alpha Omega were great!
