There are ample studies to show that silver ions kill 650 different single celled pathogens. This is perhaps why silver is not banned outright by the FDA... the cat is already out of the bag. There is absolutely no way colloidal silver is 'flying under the radar'. To varying degrees its in the sights of the FDA, the TGA, Big Pharma, llttle pharma, the media, and every trolling blogger who has nothing better to do. Sooner or later someone will convince the FDA to apply the 'no evidence required' Precautionary Principle and just ban the sale of colloidal silver or CS generators. The best defence is unbiased, credible scientific research. I would accept the outcome of that no matter which way it goes. CSSystemic Yeast Infection
I have a systemic yeast infection caused by the atomizers I use for my COPD. I have been reading the archives on this subject, but found nothing conclusive. Has it ever been determined that CS cures systemic yeast infections and if so, what is a good dosage? I have been taking Fluconazole for this problem, and at first I only had to take it once a month. Then it was every 2 weeks and now it is every 10 days. Obviously, it soon will not help at all. Has anyone ever been successful in curing a systemic yeast infection? If so, what was the protocol? Any information, advice and suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Many thanx, Judy Harnett

CSSystemic Yeast Infection
Thanx Sandy. I checked out the link you forwarded, but did not find it very helpful as it concentrated mainly on vaginitis and thrush and yeast infection during pregnancy. Those are not the problems I'm dealing with. Because I am dealing with inhalants to treat my COPD, the infection centers around my vocal cords, esophagus, and the like, eventually causing me severe laryngitis. It starts out with a horrible taste in my mouth and I know that it's time to take the fluconazole, which is losing it effectiveness. There may not be an answer to my problem as long as I'm using these inhalant meds, but was hoping someone would know if using silver on a daily basis would at least keep it at bay. So, if anyone has experience with it's use, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Hi Judy: Some of the top supplements you can use to fight Candida (there is plenty of research out there if Google the topics): East Park Research Olive Leaf Extract (D Lenolate) Fresh water Diatomaceous Earth (for the digestive system) A high quality therapeutic edible clay (for the digestive system) Plenty of quality probiotics (even up to three times daily) Colloidal Silver Plus, it is very important to reduce or eliminate fast burning sugars... Try to eat foods that are low on the glycemic index. Even for those people who aren't using medications that encourage Candida, who have acquired systemic candida infections, it can easily take a year to clear up with a concentrated effort. Have you considered an Oriental Herbalist. There are anti-fungals in that arsenal of approaches that few are aware of. I studied herbs but it is not my area of expertise. You would need to find a really good Herbalist who knew what they are doing since you are working with the condition plus medications. You might want to contact the offices of Jake Paul Fratkin, OMD (Colorado, I think). He has lectured on Candida overgrowth so it might be a good place to start. In the meantime I would recommend you cut out all simple sugars and refined foods as they are food for fungus. Good luck. CSAgO4 is the ingredient in Guardian Silver Sol
Or so their website claims. This is the only Ag4O4 product I have heard of on the market. Anyone have experience with this chemical and how it differs from EIS? http://www.guardiansilversol.com/what-is-silver-sol/colloidal-silver/ If I recall, I read somewhere it is hard on the liver or kidneys. The say it recharges itself to kill more bacteria (whatever that means). They say the silver ions that somehow or the other results from this compound are missing two electrons, and not one. They say this is due to some high voltage something or the other they use when making it. I do not see any info on this product in Frank's product report page. This was also the chemical that was used in that breast cancer study. Thinking of giving it a try for my probable unkillable bartonella. ~David
Re: CSAgO4 is the ingredient in Guardian Silver Sol
What confuses me is that American Biotech labs told me they don't have Ag4O4 in their products, but if I am not mistaken, ABL also makes guardian silver sol? It is one we made but not one we actually manufacture. The only ones you will find are the supplements at the health foods stores under Silver Biotics or ASAP Solution. ~David -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Re: CSAgO4 is the ingredient in Guardian Silver Sol
Hi David: A. The product that was used in the breast cancer studies quoted earlier (done by Dr. John Apsley) was Argentyn 23, and not Silver Sol, or Silver Biotics. B. Horowitz is absolutely rediculous. His ravings on this topic should be ignored. American Biotech Labs shreas a unique relationship with the FDA because they spent the money to have at least two of their products cleared for medical use by the FDA. Therefore, they have the legal authority to make medical claims based on their patent filings coupled with their FDA approval. I'm not the biggest fan with everything that ABL has done, but Keith Moeller et al are certainly not FDA plants, nor do they have an agenda beyond making their investors happy by selling lots of silver. As far as whether or not it is **more** or less useful than a typical EIS product, it's hard to say. CSHome made Generator vs a SilverGen or SilverSol already bottled?
I am new to this website and I would like to start making the very best true nanoparticle colloidal silver for my own use. A good website I'm not sure about. As far as stirring methods, I have tried thermal stirring (using a hot plate underneath a coffee carafe) and hand stirring (every 30 mins). Heating produced a pungent taste after a couple of days so I just stir mine by hand. There are other ways of doing it I'm sure. I got the parts to my generator from radio shack. I will try to send you a picture of my setup and explain how I did it. I'm very busy so it may take a couple of days. Scotty Have a great day! Nancy, The SilverGen is an excellent device that makes an ionic/particulate solution of nano sized particles. The mix is usually in the 80% ionic, 20% particulate range. Understand that it is only silver ions that kill pathogens because they are charged. Silver particles become ions in the blood stream. (sorry if this message was duplicated) I don't think the breast cancer study used argentyn. Maybe were talking about different studies. This quote says Ag4O4: Thirty Central American female patients, diagnosed with breast cancer by an oncologist utilizing mammograms and biopsies, comprised a subject group 32 to 52 years of age. Each received a single intravenous dosage of silver-oxide-hydrosol ([Ag.sub.4][O.sub.4]) to achieve a blood plasma concentration of 10 ppm. The 30 subjects were equally divided by three histologic groups: infiltrative canalicular breast carcinoma (Group I), ductile carcinoma, medular breast cancer (Group II), and infiltrative lobular breast cancer (Group III). The dose was administered to 50% of the patients over ten minutes and to the other 50% over four hours within each respective group. Utilizing any of our products would give you its benefits. You can purchase it in most health food stores and online under the name Silver Biotics®. The list is long, but don't hold your breath for anything to be tested that actually works. The NCCAM is the US National Centre for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Most of you have probably heard of it. They spend MILLIONS OF YOUR DOLLARS funding research into alternative health products. (http://nccam.nih.gov/ http://nccam.nih.gov/grants/) It appears they have never conducted or funded any original research into Colloidal Silver. I'd like to know why. (Yes I know they have a 'Backgrounder' but that's not what I'm looking for.) My request is that one or more of you 'Silverlisters' will send the following brief email to NACCM. I think the appropriate contact to start with would be this person.. Carol Pontzer, Ph.D. E-mail: pontz...@mail.nih.gov (http://nccam.nih.gov/grants/contact/#jg) Dear Dr Pontzer, Could you please advise me if NCCAM has ever received an application for a grant to conduct research into the medicinal use of Colloidal Silver? If so, could you please advise me of your response to that request. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Your name, address, phone, etc. (As an Australian I think it would probably be useless to ask NCCAM myself. I doubt I would even get a response. So I'm hoping one of you US TAXPAYERS will take up the task and get back to the group.) Please note that I'm not interested in getting funding myself. I just think the answer to this question could be quite enlightening. It looks to me like the vast bulk of NCCAM research funding goes to medical schools and universities who know that its a bad idea to rattle Big Pharma's chain, so consequently they research stuff that the big drug companies couldn't care less about. (See completed NACCM trials here... http://tiny.cc/hmsb0 ). If no research has been done simply because no-one has asked for funding then maybe thats something we should make widely known. So, will someone do this for me and the silverlist team. Cheers, David -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Re: CSHome made Generator vs a SilverGen or SilverSol already bottled?
Thank you. - Original Message - From: Scotty To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Tuesday, July 05, 2011 7:49 PM Subject: Re: CSHome made Generator vs a SilverGen or SilverSol already bottled? A good website I'm not sure about. As far as stirring methods, I have tried thermal stirring (using a hot plate underneath a coffee carafe) and hand stirring (every 30 mins). Heating produced a pungent taste after a couple of days so I just stir mine by hand. There are other ways of doing it I'm sure. I got the parts to my generator from radio shack. I will try to send you a picture of my setup and explain how I did it. I'm very busy so it may take a couple of days. I have read several directions on how to make your own generator- but they all slightly differ (bubbling water vs stirring or non-agitating). I just do not know what is the best method. Is there a webpage out there for good directions? - Original Message - From: Scotty To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Tuesday, July 05, 2011 7:29 PM Subject: Re: CSHome made Generator vs a SilverGen or SilverSol already bottled? Yes, Nancy, you can make your own nanoparticle silver at home! I used a bridge rectifier (ac to dc) to make my unit and have been making my own silver for the past five years. My setup is crude but very cost effective and efficient. Good luck on your endeavor! Scotty Have a great day! I am new to this website and I would like to start making the very best true nanoparticle colloidal silver for my own use. Can a homemade generator or ready made (ex.- SilverGen) produce nanoparticle sized particles (not just ions). Or, is it best to just purchase the colloidal silver already bottled on the market- ex.-SilverSol or etc? Please help. Nancy
