the only thing i dont like about vitamix is it doesn't fit under the counter too tall... and idk about you, but if it is not on my counter i'm more reluctant to use it every day :) After reading about the Nutribullet on this site, I purchased one. Well, it smelled really bad, had that bad, very strong vinyl type of smell. It was sitting on our counter and the whole kitchen filled with that smell. Obviously outgassing something you would rather not breathe. Seems to come from the black rubber gear under the blade assembly. The unit claims BPA free, but there seems to be something worse than BPA coming from it. My wife insisted we should return it, and I agreed. I researched the stuff the Vitamix is made of, and it looks a lot better, think I will try that. Re: CSCS Bar Soap
I was kinda thinking something similiar. I make cold processed soap and can't see where substituting the cs water for the regular water would retain any of the cs properties at all. If you could get the cs to mix with an oil (gee oil and water do not mix) you could superphat it in at the end, but I doubt it would do anything positive if you used it as a substitute for the water. I'm not a big neem fan, I like the emu oil superphatted and use probably euclyptus and/or rosemary mint. That is my favorite I feel like I'm killing all the germs blend. Sometimes I throw in some camphor EO also... If you wanted the cs on your skin, couldn't you just put in spray bottle and spray? or also I've added it to the hottub already :) On 27.01.2013 12:19, Rachel Hawkridge wrote: As a soapmaker, I don't think this is possible or realistic. Rinse with water. Add Karo syrup (dextrose) chloride has turned black. Rinse with water. Add Karo syrup (dextrose) until all the black material (silver oxide) turns to pure silver. This is from instruction for refining silver - so what you would end up with is silver oxide flakes in soap, and probably gummy soap, at that. Adding CS to melt pour is also a problem- can't add much liquid anything to it. If you want CS on skin, spray directly or add to lotion. I'm not sure that CS is silver chloride, but that seems likely, and in any case, the silver WILL BE oxidized. Adding CS as part of the water phase of lotion should be safe and effective. Why do you want CS soap? Not sure that the silver would be absorbed- would be washed off. And soap kills most bacteria and fungus on skin- virus are either washed off or killed by friction. If I were going to do something with CS on skin, I'd do a neem/tea tree soap, and CS in a NaPCA/aloe solution sprayed on after. (That's an awesome moisturiser.) Neem reeks, so mint to scent? RE: CSHow to treat Lyme Disease
hi no cured the problem is with lyme is that if you don't catch it right away it goes in the cells so far deep that it actually lives in the nucleus! it hides for awhile sickness is like peeling an onion... you have to peel off the layers to get to the root of it.. and do it slowly so you stay functional... i was so sick in 1997 i couldn't walk from the kitchen to the livingroom without passing out couldn't work etc... now i'm i think she said about 90 percent which is really good... there are a lot of sick people walking around out there. parasites and lyme and virus and bacteria even live in stuff like your bone marrow... it is amazing what can live in your body... i used to do the rife machine (emem) but not so much anymore. kelp or other thyroid support is a big help fir sauna is even bigger help you have to do parasite stuff because the lyme is actually a spirochete like a corkscrew.. one of the biggest thing i think for lymies is they should be gluten free. slowly getting better but not cured and lyme gone by a long shot... oh another thing is it is a benefit to switch vitamins, protocols up... the bugs that live inside of you are smart and they get used to one vitamin if you do it all the time then it becomes less effective. so it is optimal to do every other day or do a bottle then do something else... that is mostly why i don't do the humaworm ALL the time, sometimes humaworm, sometimes black walnut, sometimes spanish black radish, sometimes barefoot herbal dewormer, the latest i want to try is that gb-3 that dr wilson talks about (google it!) i would really love to try the russian sputnuk but haven't had the guts yet but i know at least one person on this list has! they are all parasite killers and to remain effective you have to rotate. some day my lyme will be gone.. health is a never ending battle that is for sure.. -Original Message- From: aslra...@gmail.com [mailto:aslra...@gmail.com] Sent: Sunday, January 27, 2013 9:23 AM To: silver-list@eskimo.com Subject: CSHow to treat Lyme Disease Hi Maple Springs Farm, I saw that you're suffering from Lyme disease - my mother was diagnosed with it after many years of feeling terrible - she's on antibiotic now. Many of the products called stevia actually are full of other fillers that are pretty nasty to most people with sensitive health issues. ANY white powdered stevia, including those that are pure stevia, has been highly chemically processed, and is NOT a pancreatic tonic, or any other kind of tonic. It has no health benefits except for eliminating the calories of sugar. It does not moderate blood sugar, it does not effect the pancreas. It does tend to increase insulin just as sugar does - just the sweet taste on the taste buds sets that reaction off. BUT real stevia, the whole leaf or powdered green/brown hard to dissolve stevia - this is used as a pancreatic tonic, doesn't have the same insulin boost, as the whole herb mediates the oversweet sensation, and does moderate blood glucose levels. In South America it is used as a primary treatment for diabetes. But, of course, things do work differently for different people. Just my two cents. Sara Interesting - it didn't suit my DH either - it is meant to be a pancreatic tonic - maybe that's why it doesn't suit everyone? Jane just a fyi stevia totally stops my body from detoxing turns it off like a lightswitch and drops my blood sugar one of those things that yeah everyone else can eat but not me!!! -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Batmanheldij is interesting on this subject. Jane This is my understanding. Cane sugar is a complex sugar, containing fructose and glucose. When the body gets the sweet taste, it immediately starts producing insulin to store the excess sugar. The glucose portion goes directly into the blood, and replaces the drop in blood sugar that would normally accompany an insulin surge maintaining a normal blood sugar level. The fructose portion is then stored, either in muscle, or as fat for later use. Once the glucose is used up, insulin levels drop and the stored fructose is converted to fructose and burned. If only moderate amounts of sugar are consumed, then virtually no sugar is converted to fat. Now with pure or near pure fructose, the body once again produces insulin, dropping the blood sugar (glucose) level. But no glucose comes in, only fructose comes in. The fructose is stored in muscle tissue, but is stuck there because of the high insulin levels. Blood sugar drops, making you hungry, so you eat and or drink more to try to get the glucose level back up. If it is sweet fructose then that only adds to the problem. Once the level of fructose reaches a saturation level in the tissues, it starts being stored as fat, which is much more difficult to access and burn than sugar stored in the muscle. Thus HFCS converts much more into fat than a mixture of glucose and fructose, such as honey, or cane sugar. Marshall -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. But I'm sure there is a range of quality with them aswell, some better absorbing and cushioning the stress of the landingthan others. Estrogenplays a part in constricting the sphincter muscles dogs use to urinate. The lack of estrogen means a lack of that tone needed to control her sphincter. The adrenal glands also produce estrogen, albeit in small amounts. This is usually enough to keep the sphincter muscles workingproperly, but in about 20% of cases, this isn't so. no not lately... my black rope that it comes with broke i think i have to get a new one otherwise it will be too short... but thanks for talking about this... i was thinking it was just me it prompted me to get a new rope and put it back on to see if it will do anything... they are expensive if you don't already have one i find them a benefit i muscle test a benefit too but you have to weigh the price against it too because to me now that i'm stronger, i don't notice anything huge curious since it is magnetic in nature if that's what caused my cpa boss's 2 mini strokes last week he also felt like he was having heart attack (got it checked out and turned up nothing) also just to mention, when 'they' do their scalar waves (haarp program) i get an emotional reaction... the bach flower helps with this do you get emotions with it too? emotions are usually detox stuff for sure or just flu-like stuff? if it's flu-like stuff i'd probably opt for the standard process congaplex that's my cure-all for when i don't feel well (when it's strep it's 12 a day, mostly everything else is 6 a day) if you haven't tried that yet it can be a real life saver Maple Springs Farm Farm Store - Maple Syrup, Custom Embroidery, Etched Glass, Shoo-fly pie, Funny Cake Pie, Emu Oil, Dog Art Prints, Handmade Soap and More... http://www.maplesprings.com On-Line Cookbook http://www.maplespringsfarm.com -- Original Message --- From: Deborah Gerard devorah...@yahoo.com To: silver-list@eskimo.com silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Sun, 15 Jul 2012 18:32:00 -0700 (PDT) Subject: Re: CSSolar Flares and how they affect the body Thank-you for your kind word's and suggestion. Near the bottom of the post is a web addy for additional information. MA My nutritionist had it (Bad!) and has cured herself, but it's some nasty stuff!! If it gets out of hand it can paralyse the host, does not sound like fun. Here is some of what she said about the symptoms: 20:09:25 kristina Lyme Disease, in the United States, may be affecting millions of people. Some believe that Lyme Disease is the underlying causative agent of many chronic health conditions, including but not limited to: allergies, heart arrhythmias, arthritis (both osteo and rheumatoid), ADD, auto-immune disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, depression, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, macular degeneration, sensory or motor radiculoneuropathies (i.e., clumsiness in the hands or feet and/or burning, tingling or numbness), Alzheimer's Disease, ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), Bell's palsy, irritable bowel syndrome and gastrointestinal distress, lupus, polymyalgia rheumatica (a more severe form of fibromyalgia), sleep disorders, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, brain fog, memory loss, joint pain/swelling/stiffness, lack of coordination, unexplained chills and fevers, recurrent infections, poor concentration, tremors, shortness of breath, anxiety orpanic attacks, heart palpitation! s, weight changes (loss or gain), sore throats, loss of appetite, muscle pain or cramps, obsessive compulsive disorders, headaches/migraines, light sensitivity, trigeminal neuralgia, unexplained hair loss, and visual changes. 20:10:37 kristina a recent study demonstrated the efficacy of Cat's Claw (Unicaria tomentosa) in destroying the Lyme organism. In fact, in the study, the control group of 14 patients all took antibiotics and only 3 improved slightly, 3 got worse and the remainder had no change in their clinical condition. The experimental group was treated with Cat's Claw and 85% of them were negative for the Lyme organism after 6 months and all the patients experienced a dramatic improvement in their clinical condition. (Cowden, WE, MD, et al., Lyme Disease: Nutraceutical Breakthrough Using TOA-Free Cat's Claw, Focus, Feb '04, pp.3,4) In utilizing Cat's Claw, it is extremely important that the quality and purity of the product be assured. This herb occurs naturally in 2 forms: the more common TOA form and the rarer POA form. For those of you with a chemical bent, TOA stands for tetracyclic oxindole alkaloid and POA for pentacyclic oxindole alkaloid. Only the POA form iseffective in! stimulating the immunity which destroys the organism. As little as 1% TOA can cause a 30% reduction in the immune system modulating properties that POAs provide. Unfortunately some commercially available products contain as much as 80% TOAs. (Ibid, p. 3) The Medi-Herb Cat's Claw that we use at the RFHC is 1.5% to 2.0% POAs, the highest concentration available, and is TOA free. Therefore, the amount needed is less, making it much more affordable than other POA products on the market. We did a cost study and determined that using Medi-Herb Cat's Claw was very cost effective. 20:14:20 kristina There are so many more symptoms, but let's go on to treatment: 20:14:23 kristina High protein, high fat, low carb diet with vegetables (modified elimination diet). Lyme is very complicated. To put it bluntly, you do not have lyme disease like you think you have. You have a mental concept that you have a lyme bacteria and if you kill that bacteria you will get well. This is not at all true. You have a disease that has many flavors and that falls under a broad category called lyme disease simply for lack of a better name. You need guidance from a professional who treats lyme full time or at the very least the guidance of some experienced patients who have dealt with lyme for years. You have been stuck on colloidal silver cure-all hopes too long. You are sedentary and have many other complicating factors in your case. Killing bugs is not going to get you well. You have a lot of things that need working on. Time to adjust your expectations here. You are in for hard work. Hi Rod If you are looking for advice about lyme disease, there are several email lists on yahoo. I would join one of them. There is no easy answer. There is no silver bullet. Lyme comes in layers. It is like peeling an onion. It's a long hard road. It is definately not just one thing that will cure it. Jump on the lyme list and you will get the information you are looking for. Re: CSLyme disease
hi rod i have lyme not using iodine but something similiar potassium iodide and kelp (i alternate every other day) both iodine and pottsium iodide and kelp all support the thyroid and then the thyroid is supported your body can get rid of those things that shouldn't be there Rodney Samuelson wrote: Where can I buy iodine to kick butt? For my money and experience with iodine, I would be doing just that. To the best of my knowledge, it does not harm and it has all the potential to do so much good, Pathogens that mutate, generally do it because they are continuously exposed to an antibiotic, which they figure a way to work around it, but mutating, and making the antibiotic none affective. There is not reason for a pathogen to mutate with iodine, as it still gets them. Secondly I would begin LDN therapy immediately, LDN, low dose naltrexone, is an immune system modulator, that kicks the immune system in high gear. Another opportunity to chose something that has little to no side affects. I am a member of the LDN group at yahoo, it does me a wonderful job, with my leukemia. And there are many on that list who use LDN, who also have lyme. Just my opinion, as I am not licensed to give medical advice, better to do this than go to an MD, who will prescribe business as usual, strong antibiotics, that do have side affects, ie yeast/candida, which makes life difficult. I just have this strong feeling iodine will kick butt with lyme. Add in LDN and you gotter on a downhill pull, nothing to my knowledge can hide from iodine, david lubbock tx.
