CSZapper building questions, need h*lp please

2002-10-17 Thread natural_essentials
I'm trying to build a zapper according to Hulda Clark's instruction in
her book The Cure for All Diseases. I could not find a Radio shack
276-1988 8 pin wire wrapping socket, I had to go with the 276-1995 which
has much shorter legs. I'm stuck trying to bend #2 to #6 and attaching
them with an alligator clip. I see no way to get them close enough. Has
anyone built one of these? Is there a better way, or a better part to
use? Are the pins strong? I've been wrapping the wires around, rather
than twisting the capacitors to the pins because I'm afraid the pins will
break. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm obviously no
electronics expert, this is only the 2nd project I've attempted.
Thanks!!

Re: CSRE: Goldenseal/pot

2002-09-10 Thread natural_essentials
I work in a lab that does government and non-gov drug testing. Golden
seal in and of itself does nothing to mess up a drug test. BUT the
instruction for taking it for the purpose of passing a drug test always
state to drink copious (tons) of water, sometimes indicating drinking a
gallon of water with it. I GUARANTEE you the golden seal had nothing to
do with passing or not passing the test. Dilution of the urine that
occurred due to so much water was the only thing that helped people who
passed - BUT it depends upon how high a concentration of drug is there in
the first place. If it's super high no amount of dilution will help.
Virtually all ingested drug cleaners work this way - by dilution. But
dilution can also be a tricky thing - too much and a dilute remark will
end up on the report, just as suspicious as a positive.

Re: CSOur Wonderful FDA At Work Again

2002-08-13 Thread natural_essentials
Actually, I recently read in either the pregnancy or e-pregnancy magazine
that they recommended using CS on the breast for mastitis. This was the
first time I've read anything about CS in a common magazine. It was in
the June, July or August
issue.
As far as helping just breast soreness with no actual infection, I don't
think it would do anything to help at all.
Leacy

 to relieve soreness
from breast feeding, and much more...

Is this a topical application? I would advise not using CS on the
breasts until the baby starts having normal bowel movements. It is
 my
understanding that the breasts are a good source of the probiotics
 the
baby needs to set up in the intestines for proper digestion, and CS
 would surely kill those.

CSCC CS for swimming pools

2002-05-19 Thread natural_essentials
Hi all,

I've been looking at some ionizers for swimming pools. The majority of
sites say that some chlorine is still needed weekly. It would seem to me
that the chlorine and silver would make some silver chloride. Please
correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that silver chloide was
poisonous/toxic?

Does anyone currently use an ionizer in your pool/spa, and how satisfied
with it are you? I seem to recall the original thread was posed by
Marshall.

DMSO supercools very easily (gets hard and crystalizes). I had some out
in my summer kitchen and I think it was somewhere around 50 degrees F.
Rewarming it slowly at room temperture should get it to liquify again.
Mine took about 24 hrs to completely melt.

Marshall,

I would very much like to hear your ideas on accomplishing this. Do you
plan on keeping a generator in the pool?
A neighbor recently showed me an advertisement for something you insert

I'll ask to look at it again. I didn't see how it was suppose to work.
Are you planning on purchasing or building an ozone generator?

So I did some research last night and guess what I found out. The
problem is that the ions of copper
react with the chlorine in the pool and form basic copper chloride
which is insoluble, and the silver
combines forming silver chloride, which is almost insoluble. So
both plate out, the first being a blue
green and the second being a grey or black.

If you put no chlorine in the water, you should get no staining!
The pool place said that you have to
use chlorine occasionally to shock the pool. They are half right,
the pool water does have to be
shocked, since the organics will not be destroyed by the copper or
silver. But you can also shock
 continuously using an ozone generator.

I believe this is the best way to go, and we will likely have some
real experience with such a system
 next year.

trying it right now on an EXTREMELY severe wound on a chicken, 4x4 and
I'm hoping it works, although this may just be too darn large. It is
looking much better so far, I'm on the 3rd day doing it. I try to spray
at least 3x/day, 4x on days I'm home all day. She's also drinking it.
My cat with the mangled tail was better, scabbed over nicely in 4-5 days,
it's been at least a month now and the fur has even grown back (didn't
think it would), it's just a bit shorter than the rest of her fur still.

Has anyone made eyedrops with cs? Any suggestions on how much saline to
add so it won't sting the eyes - of humans and cats?

The liver enzyme test you are referring to is GGT, there is also SGOT
(could also be that one), SGPT, and alkaline phosphtase. Those are the
main liver enzymes for a serum (blood) chemistry profile. A very
interesting note The milk thistle really DOES work - or at least
covers up the damage done to a liver. Why do I say this you ask???
Because insurers (life, health) are scared of what it can cover up/heal.
Do NOT admit to taking it if you are applying for insurance. They may
take that as reason enough to decline you. At least the insurance
industry is beginning to take the healing properties of herbs seriously,
or on a more cynical note, maybe they are just using it to their
advantage. Either way, the word is getting out.

CSDMSO CS or aloe

Hi all,

I obtained some DMSO today GC pure grade 99.5%. I've looked in the
archives for suggestions on using it but have found conflicting info and
am hoping someone will enlighten me. I'm hoping to use it for 2 purposes
- 1 for me and my chronic back pain, I've already had 2 surgeries and am
really hoping to avoid a 3rd. 2nd for my cat, she is still suffering from
a severe upper respiratory ailment of unknown origin and has for the 6
yrs I've had her. Her nose is currently swollen to about 3x normal size,
and has lost most black pigment due to the swelling. I had to put her
on prednisone a couple of weeks ago because it was swollen about 5x size
and her nares were virtually swollen shut. She has been on cs for water
since about Dec but it doesn't appear to be helping.

What I've read in the archives is 70% DMSO and 30% aloe, or 20% DMSO and
80% cs or 5% DMSO and 95% cs (not sure that that last one was 95% cs.
Any ideas on what would be the best topical application for me, and one
for her as well? I assume I'm to apply it to her nose, any known
problems with that?

Thanks to all!

CSMaking CS the 2nd time around

2001-11-21 Thread natural_essentials
I made my 2nd and 3rd batches of CS today. In retrospect, I'm glad I
made the 1st batch with KCl because I was able to actually SEE what was
going on. Just goes to show, there is something positive to be gained
from every experience.

Anyway I made the 2nd batch from OSCO brand distilled water ($0.89) - the
same thing I used in my first batch. The 3rd batch I made with high
grade DI water from the lab where I work. People keep talking about the
type of distilled water they used so I wanted to compare a very high
grade to my bargain brand.

I used no KCl this time, tested the mAmps every 10 minutes for a total of
60 min, and wiped off the wires at 30 and 45 minutes. According to the
ppm calculator, I ended up with a total ppm of about 68, and 66. It was
actually 85.31 and 82.91 but I factored in a 20% discount since I only
have 4 inches of silver wire in the water. I think the calculator was
based on 5 inches being in the water. I'd like to know how off Herx
and Ole Bob found the calculator to be. I'll have to take some over to
Ole Bob to test!

Both turned out crystal clear and tasted the same - still a pretty strong
taste but not bad like the first one. Beautiful! I'm going to put some
in my humidifier for myself and my cat. I've been battling a wicked cold
for 3 weeks now, and she's had a constant upper respiratory problem for
years. Poor thing can't even purr sometimes.

Thanks to everyone for the fantastic tips and testimonies, and expert
advice. I've learned so much.

Re: CSMaking 1st CS - using ppm calculator

2001-11-20 Thread natural_essentials
Somewhere I read that adding a few grains of dead sea salt to the very
first batch was used to get the reaction going, then later you could use
a bit of the CS to seed it. I couldn' t find my dead sea salt, so I
used a few grains of KCl instead, I used KCl over table salt so I
wouldn't have any anti-caking additives or iodine. (Seemed best at the
time!) I drank an ounce, and my husband did too! I thought he was under
the impressions that it was just another one of my mad scientist
experiments, but he's evidently been convinced as well about it's good
use by what I've read to him so far. It was very metalic-y tasting, is
this due to the silver chloride formed or is all CS like that?

Next batch I'll not use the KCl.

I'm still wanting to try to use it in my ultrasonic humidifier - Does
anyone know if this may not be good because of the silver chloride?

CSMaking my first batch - using the excel ppm calculator

2001-11-19 Thread natural_essentials
Ok, I just started making my first batch of CS. I'm using Marshalee's
system of 3 9V batteries, using 16 oz of water, put about 10 grains of
KCl in it, and I'm stirring about every minute. I've got the wires
between chopsticks (saw a pic like that somewhere) and I'm actually
moving the wires around and around to stir by manipulating the
chopsticks. My first amp measurement was 10.5 amp measured by a Fluke
- some brand of multimeter. My second was 10.4 at 10 minutes. The
solution is quite milky almost pearly with a pink hue already. I can see
bubbles on one wire, and the other is already coated in black.

So, on the calculator I put in 474.12 ml, and 0.0105, 0.0104, and 0.01024
and I'm ending up with a ppm of 0.03 at the 3rd reading. Something seems
wrong, I do need to move the decimal point on the amps don't I?

CSMaking 1st CS - using ppm calculator

2001-11-19 Thread natural_essentials
I forgot, I've got 4 inches of the wire in the solution. I wiped off
both wires at 35 minutes also. It's been 40 minutes now and the solution
is quite murky now, like dirty bathwater. Getting darker each minute.
Uugghh

Are these maybe mA, not Amps? It just shows an A with no m before it
on the multimeter.

CSWater washing

2001-11-09 Thread natural_essentials
Get rid of it, as in to remove it from your hands, yes, kill it no.
You've seen it on the news yourself, pictures of hazmat teams being
decontaminated by being sprayed down, stepping into another bin, being
sprayed down again, several times. They are sprayed down with water.
All of the water run off is then treated as biohazardous waste.

Today I attended a teleconference put on by the CDC regarding
bioterrorism, of course anthrax was part of the discussion. The best
decontamination method for hard surfaces and the one recommended by the
CDC is still just a good old 10% bleach solution, alcohol won't kill it,
many of the super expensive antimicrobial sprays that labs are fond of
purchasing won't kill it, just good old 1 part bleach, 9 parts water

Leacy
Peace
I saw a head medical honcho on TV the other day and he said Just by
rinsing your hands with water for 20 seconds after reading your mail,
will get rid of any anthrax spores I doubt that any bacterial soap
could kill it anyhow, but will make people feel safer. He didn't say
anything about clothes, shoes and such.

CSultrasonic humidifiers

2001-11-07 Thread natural_essentials
What is the difference between an ultrasonic humidifer and a regular old
fashioned one? I've also seen cool vapor humidifiers which personally
I don't understand why you would need cool vapor since the temp would
equilibrate to the room temp quickly.

How do you use CS with a humidifier? Do you use it as the water IN the
humidifier or in the resevoir on top? Is breathing vaporized CS better
than drinking it, does it get into your system faster?

CSNew to list with many cs questions

2001-11-06 Thread natural_essentials
Hi all, I'm new to the list but have enjoyed learning about cs while
pouring through the archives tonight. I'm very optimistic about cs being
able to help me with chronic pain and constant illnesses, my cat who
suffers from chronic respiratory ailments (fungal, bacterial, and viral),
and hopefully most of all my friend who was diagnosed with MS last
January.

Of course, above all else, I want to do no harm to any of us. However,
in my searches I haven't really found ANYTHING or anyone that posted any
limits to the amount of cs to take (humans and cats), or how it can be
harmful. I plan to make my own, a method that is supposed to be about
18ppm. Is there a maximum amount of cs that should be taken? Is there a
level that can be toxic to humans (or cats!)? Some people talked about
adjusting it according to weight, but I didn't see any ratios
recommended. What is contraindicated? Are there any medications that it
could interfere with?

Does anyone have suggestions on how to give it to my cat? I thought
about simply substituting it for the water bowl, but other cats are
drinking out of it too and I would much prefer to be able to monitor the
amount she is getting anyway.

Is there a way to actually measure the ppm in the cs, is this even
necessary or recommended? How often do the wires need replacing and how
do you know when they should be?

Does it taste bad, or is it pallitable? Here's a funny question, is it
painful on the teeth - like if you touch aluminum foil to a filling?
Eeeoowwwhhh ;-)

Wow, that's a whole lot of information I'm requesting, hope you all are
up to the challenge!

Leacy
Peace
